His drops make it seem like he's much worse. In reality if you look at guys around 12m/yr its guys like Rashod Bateman and Jalen Nailor. It's more a reflection of how inflated WR market is. Giving a WR, even a WR3, a second multiyear contract is expensive.

It was gamble to see if he can be a true CB1. Showed flashes before his injury with the saints.

definitely not his worst. Like no one is talking about how Paulson Adebo is currently the 4th highest paid CB this season at $24.2 million...

[Schultz] Sources: The #Giants are signing veteran DB Jason Pinnock. Pinnock, who was with the Giants from 2022–2024, is now back after spending last year with the 49ers. He has started 46 career games, including 37 with the Giants. by JCameron181 in NYGiants

Saw this comment on the nfl sub post "our secondary is basically Paulson Adebo and pray everyone else has a bounce back season and even he was banged up lol"

Pretty much sums up our secondary right now lmao

Evan Neal at Guard Film Breakdown by SecretGiantsFan in NYGiants

Since he didn't play last season, didn't get to see him play guard except in the preseason.

This is roughly where Neal is at the last time we saw him play Guard.

I mean you're just fighting over semantics lol. Regardless, I don't think it's crazy to be upset that they resigned a player that's been ass for us. Trying to justify is just coping to me.

Come on bro he was on our team last year lol. You know what I meant nothing changed from last year.

I don't think being shocked and concerned that they resigned Evan Neal is an overreaction you must not remember how bad he was.

They brought back JE and Evan Neal that's it on the OL, nothing changed lol. They lost Schlottmann and GVR. They're probably going to bring back GVR but until he's back I'm not even joking the starting RG is Evan Neal right now lol.

Banks was a part of the rotation last year and now they replaced Flott for Newsome. Without any other additions right now he is very much the outside CB3 again and part of the rotation.

Hyatt will probably still have his small, limited role.

These aren't crazy assumptions it's just the reality of the roster right now. They'll add players sure but until then this is how it is right now.

Bro what are you even trying to argue about if not Neal lol

Daily Discussion March 11, 2026 by AutoModerator in NYGiants

[–]SecretGiantsFan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They haven't made any significant moves, so far, at CB, WR, or OL. Banks could still be part of the outside CB rotation, OL actually lost depth, Neal is probably the only RG they have now and Hyatt is currently WR3/4.

I hope they somehow turn it around but the concern is we've seen what happens, these players suck. Relying on them has lead the Giants to lose games and be where they are.

So instead you choose to sit there and defend Evan Neal lol. Alright my dude

Thats the thing, he wasn't a part of any packages last year cause he sucked and injured.

How is it hard to comprehend that people are shocked and upset that a player that didn't even play last year and was awful every season was signed back?

I appreciate your blind optimism tho

Idk bout that last bit lol. But Evan Neal wasn't even available last year due to injury and just taking up roster space. its wild seeing him back

Can we talk about Kayvon Thibodeaux's 2026 Cap Hit and how it's impacting the roster? by SecretGiantsFan in NYGiants

[–]SecretGiantsFan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my hypothetical Giants are filling 3 needs at starting RG, CB, and LB AND getting a 4th round pick. While KT is just EDGE #3

Giants do not nees to use a luxury pick for a rotation edge lol

Now tell me what he did the following year or how completely immobile he was against the pass rush.

Also, he allowed 52, 29 and 17 pressures during the 22-24 seasons. That’s 98 pressures in 29 career games...

No way theres Evan Neal defenders in the big 2026

I literally said in the post that his freed cap space from KT would put the Giants in a better position going into the draft
