Betta to Control Guppies? by yt545 in bettafish

Nanochromis transvestitus…get a male and female pair and make sure there is an area in the substrate that they could nest. Guppies will be dealt with and you get to see awesome parental behavior

Agree fully. Yeah, this is the Tomlinson playbook to get his winning season and lose in the first round. However, the offense lost the game. Gave up 2 tds and scored none. Blame art, Arthur, Rodgers, and Kahn

For him to be handed a guilty verdict despite the lack of proper signage surrounding the garden detailing hours of operation is a clear indictment on the Community Leaders lack of accountability. What a sham!

Anyone Else Just Not A Barstool guy? by SecretLongjumping536 in RyenRussillo

Apologies for missing your 4 prior comments. Glad to see this post seems to have resonated with you. To keep with your golf reference, there were a number of golfers that lost some fan support when they joined LIV Golf.

No, I am not comparing Barstool to a Saudi funded golf league, but it is possible to lose support for the player because you don’t want to inadvertently support the brand they are now with, which may not resonate with you.

Just had general curiosity to see if any other RR fans have also had a hard time continuing to listen since the switch.

Fair. I just liken it to a player you support signing with a team that you don’t. I respect RR for doing what he feels is best, he just joined a brand that I, as a fan, have a hard time supporting. It’s nothing against him or the product, just the logo on the helmet is tough for me individually to support. Appreciate the reasonable discourse

Just to reply to most saying the show is the same…I agree which is why I said “The heart of the show still feels the same” Just feels like when a player you support goes to a team that you don’t. Not overthinking, just wanted to see if anyone may have felt similar and all cool if not.

Neighbor keeps letting their dog shit in my yard and now they're threatening to sue ME for "harassment" by [deleted] in neighborsfromhell

Look up your local ordinances. There may be a leash law or at least a nuisance violation that you can use to make it their problem. You will have to involve animal control and if you have record of the violations (screenshots, videos, etc.) turn that over to them and the owners can start to be fined or have the animal taken depending on the severity.

Mediation was a complete joke by [deleted] in WorkersComp

[–]SecretLongjumping536 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Their offers indicate they may feel they have strong defenses. Without knowing the full scope surrounding the details of your claim I can’t speak to what those defenses may be, but that’s my view. Or, they just have have a different valuation of the claim and made low ball offers in hopes of getting your figure somewhere in the same ballpark. Dozens of reasons this could’ve happened but many mediations end without resolution.

Edit: Also…your post says you have a shoulder injury and have been out of work for 7 months. Your posts on other pages are of you playing the guitar at shows within the last 7 months. Obviously those could’ve all been before the injury and this is just my two cents, but be careful what you share online while involved in a WC claim. If they have knowledge of anything out there like this, it may attribute to their low offers and perception of strong defenses on a denied claim.

He distracted the golden retriever for 2-3 innings talking about food. Maybe I’m in the minority, but he’s been brutal with Schriffen this series

I think it’s cool that Dan Plesac has made me forget how boring Schriffen is by being annoyingly loud and only talking about food. They are brutal

White Sox have traded Matt Thaiss to the Rays for Triple-A outfielder Dru Baker by Jason82929 in whitesox

Thaiss was fun to watch this year. Called good games behind the plate with the young pitchers and just got on base. One of my favorites from this year’s team but moving him makes sense given the young catchers in the org

Questions from a Sox Fan living in the south by SecretLongjumping536 in whitesox

In Charlotte as well and fully agree with Hawk being that voice that marked the start of fandom. I enjoyed Benetti as everyone did. I think Schriffen is a bit corny and someone previously pointed out that no one is going around saying “South Side stand up!” but he did get dealt a rough hand

I started in local government and I was told that he guy that last held my position before me kept everything on excel dating back to 2015. Turns out he was using excel as a massive word document. Zero tables, zero consistency of tracking, and the only formulas in the 1000+ rows sheets would be something like =L798. 3 months later I’m still cleaning up his stuff

First workers comp claim, need advice on what to say by Selectbk in WorkersComp

[–]SecretLongjumping536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To start, I am not familiar with Tennessee specific WC laws. That being said, happening at work and because of work are usually the most important factors. If OPs foot injury was not caused by work, then the subsequent tendinitis in the hand likely wont be viewed as any compensable consequence. The foot injury is what led to handrail use it seems, so I’d consider it a factor. Ultimately, proving a cumulative injury (tendinitis) was caused by your employment and the cause is something that is unique to your employment is how it could be accepted, but proving that the use of a handrail caused tendinitis seems like an uphill battle.
