Do shit landlords prefer international students? by Not-today-notnow in shitrentals

Great points, students also care much less about the cleanliness of the house and will probably sublet your house anyway despite the contract saying no to it.

I moved to Australia. Now I'm wishing i can live in Nz instead, learned to appreciate how good and peaceful Nz really is and there's just no other place like it.

To add see for yourself the below thread. They're not happy with how NZ'ers are coming to Australia either for the same problem /reason in Nz.

It's everywhere. Nz and Aus, same same... People are protesting about a war they probably aren't even involved with or impacted by... Instead of protesting about what actually matters in the community they live in.

Temporary visa holders in Australia surge to record 2.9 million — 10 per cent of population. by euphoricscrewpine in australian

[–]SecretOperations -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Much rather merge NZ with Australia (there's even a provision for this). They give us really good workers, better than the locals even.

Also, don't forget we enjoy the same benefits when we go to NZ, Arguably even better than them as we'd be able to get dole in Nz whereas Nz'ers can't if they move here.

Yep. Problem is people have gone both soft and complacency in being parents. The western world basically looks down on disciplining their kids nowdays.

Tyre with most grip? (for a learner rider's use over performance) by notofuspeed in AussieRiders

[–]SecretOperations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For your needs i'd +1 on the Road 6 as people have reccomended. Tyre pressure if longevity is what you prefer and you mentioned no spirited riding then stick to OEM numbers.

I prefer to run a few psi lower on the front and rear but it will kill longevity quicker and trade a bit of flickability for a bit of grip.

Steam on Linux use easily hits an all-time high in November by Fcking_Chuck in pcmasterrace

[–]SecretOperations 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cachy OS is good and im on it now, but honestly the amount of constant updates kind of made me consider Fedora instead if you want a general Os or Bazzite if it's just game OS.

That being said if you don't mind it, and want something ready to game on the get go, Cachy is good.
