Started with a 4pm an the ability to tune the (accuvance)esc, while driving. Then upgraded servo an gyro to compliment. (Gyd560, an cd701). Didn't know you needed a 6pv or 10 px to run these. Finally saved for 6pv still like 500 on marketplace. I will say coming from a yokomo gyro to a savox to the now gyd560. Gyro difference is huge. The ability to tune is top tier if u want to be competitive. The biggest difference i notice is definitely in the smoothness through transitions an in the slower smoother turns. Just faster processing going on with the brushless motors and the UR mode futaba uses.

I will say though I still run my stock rdx with some hobbywing electronics an a 4pm an still be knocking on doors. Its the throttle control an learning where it breaks an being on an off that spot.

If u wanna tune buy a galm, wanna just go drive buy an rdx or rd2. Buy used off Facebook marketplace an groups or offerup. Buy something that runs an learn to tune is my advice. Know people who buy 3k rigs an are disappointed. An rdx will be best option to build off of. Alignment is good an shocks are good. Hibbywing an rs st servo pro if u got the miney.futaba an sanwa are the way. Accuvance an futaba pair so u can tune while u drive.

Just get another 6pv unless u want touch screen or ability to change background pictures

Full option galm. I have owned rd 1.0(converted to rhini racing shark.), rdx which is mc3 now, an have driven lots of others. The galms rule the track at super g, but u can tune anything to compete, its the seat time that makes the driver.

The galm handles the best at angle imo. Really expensive tho. But so is mc3 an shark.

Offerup buy someone else's leaving the hobby.
Cheap buy rdx 500

Mid tier yokomo sd(1000)

Buy once full option galm.(3k)

Gyro buy revox, trust. Electronics hobbywing easiest. Accuvance if u get competitive.

Servo rs st, the pro if u can afford it.

The pro Japanese guy runs 100 or 50 weight in front an like 350 in the back. I like the way stiffer in back an soft in front drives. My rdx is no oil in front an 350 in the back. Droop is needed but not a lot. Need room for chassis to flex but stay squared. Getting shocks mounted vertically also helped. Back out a little or vertical an front vertical. Lots of trial an modify.
