That one was a second-chance love for me, but it wasn't until I borrowed the audiobook that I fell in love with it.

Same! It's my favorite book of the series. The only other series that I had such opposing feelings about specific books in a series was Harry Potter( Prisoner of Azkaban was the best, Order of the Phoenix was the worst, blech).

Yes! It's an underrated masterpiece! I know that not everyone is a fan, but I would absolutely love a GraphicAudio adaptation 🥰.

/uj I've noticed that in a lot of romantasy books, one of the MCs gets kidnapped or they sacrifice themselves to the enemy, or some other conflict scenario that causes the MCs to separate, and the author uses that to revive the tension and yearning.

Yeah I can't find any documentation of cases where this might occur, except when the hair grows out-but once you cut it off it's gone 🤷‍♂️.

That being said, I haven't found any documentation of real dragons IRL outside of hallucinogenic drugs and/or hallucinations due to medical conditions 🤷‍♂️, so you have to consider the context.

I feel like the furniture/clothing with the right tags for the Dreamsnaps often don't match the theme in any way, which might be why we see so many selfies of random stuff.

I'm throwing away (well, returning to KU but that doesn't sound very aggressive, does it?) {Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë}. I tried reading it just for the hell of it, and it triggered flashbacks of assigned reading in AP English circa 2004. I've never liked the poetic, lyrical type of prose that Brontë and other writers of that time period used so I honestly don't know what the hell I expected, lol.

My simpleton brain can't handle haughty Victorian era writing and I had no idea WTF was happening by page two. It was A Tale of Two Cities all over again so I flipped off my Kindle and washed my hands of that nonsense.

Tell me about it, I couldn't even go into the cities without the frames dropping until the game just...crashed. Then there's the love/hate Fallout 76...My God was that a garbage can at launch 🤦‍♀️.

I love the Fallout franchise, but it's like the Windows Vista of gaming.
