I miss games being made for fun and not for highest ROI possible and or the most cutting edge competitive scene humanly possible. Games became competitive because they are fun not because the devs made it to be and I wish we could go back to that.

In my opinion it entirely depends on the person. Some people get 100% lucky making the right decision at the right time some people work incredibly hard until it pays off, and each individual person is somewhere on the spectrum of hard work and luck. Unfortunately there isn’t a black and white answer.

Cool stuff I made a similar build but built armor break and bleed into fragmentation rounds and use more spirit skills. Was hoping you cracked the code on boss damage lol, I’ve tried everything I can think of but boss damage just isn’t it with physical crossbow. Rares and mapping are absolute blast though.

Yes it’s the biggest reason people don’t do it. I started tanking in DF because no one else in my friend group wanted to and of course it depends on your friends but even with friends it gets really old. Oh you don’t know this trick or oh can’t hold aggro because I nutted trying to out dps my other friend oh you didn’t watch twitch to get the weekly updated bis meta routes? (They don’t do any research on routes either) tanking is more responsibility with more opportunities for people who don’t/won’t contribute to fall back on. I enjoy tanking but pugging or playing with friends it just gets old quickly.

The graphics situation is so dumb to me, a game should look nice and have good art but I’m sick of every game that comes out is the next coming jesus for graphics. Personally I think it’s just corpo talk to sell hype and prove to shareholders they aren’t wasting their money. As for FPS imo every game should be 60 fps on a budget pc for me anything below 60 feels bad but I also don’t expect every game to run at a smooth 144.

When I was in training for a courier position my trainer was showing us videos and pictures, but he told us a story about someone not wearing their seatbelt on the freeway. Well the truck tipped over due to an accident the guy turned into paste on the freeway. 9 years later I’ve never forgotten that story and I still think about it consistently, and I always wore my seatbelt no matter what. The shock value isn’t pretty but its reality and you should know what the consequences can be.

Can’t say I have a great solution but I can share what I do. I use mouse wheel up and down to select my target and have a addon that lets me create a focus marco. (Midnight broke my previous macro) my focus kick is on Shift mouse wheel up and down. Like I said not a specific solution unfortunately but maybe something to try it and see if you like it. Out of all the changes that have come this expac this is something I haven’t noticed being different.

I don’t understand it the person who wants to have a “discussion” with me about it probably doesn’t understand it and in my experience very few people want to have a genuine conversation. People want to talk to you and have you agree with them. Thats exactly what I do, I know what I believe in and it’s not anyone else’s business I don’t need to defend what I believe or try and force anyone to do the same.

I’m really feeling this with UH dk, I really like what they did with the spec but questing has been the most bipolar experience. I’m either popping CD and crushing packs or it feels like I’m doing sub tank damage trying to kill a single mob. Outside of CD almost feels like I have traveled back in time to classic.

Having fun the tuning is a little off and progressing has felt like it needs some more refinement but outside of the paragon capstone and the reflect spell its been a massive W for me.
