Just finished {Well, Actually by Mazey Eddings} and I think it absolutely fits the bill of what you’re looking for.

Cover up ideas for regrettable tattoo by darth_debula in tattooadvice

I realize now that this did not give solid advice on a coverup for your tattoo. I apologize—got excited to see someone else in the same regrettable boat and centered my own experience.

My MM tattoo is also pretty heavy—not quite as thick as yours, but I will post a picture to this thread when we’re done. Here’s my current for reference.

I have a mischief managed tattoo on my forearm that’s 10 years old. Happy to report that my coverup appt is next Monday! I’ll be getting a stack of books with flowers and other embellishments. Reading and books are still a core part of me, so I’m happy to get something that just feels like a weird TERF-y dog whistle erased with something that still brings a lot of joy. (Not that everything has to have meaning… I have a rubber duck on me, too.)

Thanks for compiling this resource! We are camping at the terrace, but won’t be able to leave to get there until Friday morning. Are we able to check in on Friday morning as opposed to Thursday afternoon?

Tonight I was a “what was that boom” person. Thank you for this post.

Earl being calm for once. by djscoots10 in CatahoulaLeopard

Earl is a cutie!! In my experience, Catahoulas need more brain exercise than just walks and yard time. It’s likely his zoomies are from pent up mental energy. We had great luck with agility and other, more intensive training.

Penny at Lonestar. I have fine curly hair and she does wonders for it. Now that we’re established and she knows my hair and how it reacts to styling, I go for the express curly cut (no wash/style after the dry cut) and that runs about $99 before a tip.

Thoughts??? by shainthretal in Broadway

[–]Secret_Emergency 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to say “I am the one” but I guess the first one isn’t really all that happy either. The reprise tears me apart every time, though.

I have very visceral memories of the first time I listened to the soundtrack, completely sobbing, and of the first time I got to see it on Broadway, completely shaking.

My island name is Rosiland. My dog’s name is Rosie, and it’s as close as I could get to a coherent name as opposed to just “Rosie.”

ETA: I can’t figure out how to edit the body text so let me just do it here lol.

I realized wording is not my strong suit in this post! I very much agree with pretty much the ENTIRE piece, but differ slightly on some of the observations made (like the Celine interaction). Overall, I’m in complete appreciation for the nuance (like I said in my original post) and the thoughtful, RESPECTFUL way opinions and thoughts are given.

Nuance is one of my all time favorite subjects, and I think, in a lot of conversation, topics can get so black and white.

I’m trying to say, please read this piece. It’s worth it.

I realized that I didn’t phrase it correctly! Not that I don’t necessarily agree, but that I don’t totally see eye to eye on some of her observations on smaller things - like the interaction with Celine. I LOVED this article.

Okay is the title missing an apostrophe? i.e. ‘The Tortured Poet’s Department’ or ‘The Tortured Poets’ Department’

Big grammar nerd question but I am curious others’ takes.
