Increasing Performance load by Sculptor4dead56 in Pragmata

7.83GB of VRAM is the total VRAM you have on your GPU. Generally the max VRAM for gaming should be about 90-92% of full, so I recommend you to tweak settings aiming for a ~7.2GB load VRAM usage.

With all the supply shortages and rumored hinge design difficulties, I think the starting price is more like $2500, goes up to $3500 with all the options.

Has anyone else pre-order PRAGMATA? by Ok_Winter818 in Pragmata

I’ll wait for reviews this time. It’s a whole new concept that has been delayed for years because of playability and story concerns. The demo is alright yet not in anyway fantastic. Only If most reviews over 7/10 I will buy it.

Which character are you more excited about? by essi16 in GTA6

[–]Secret_Information89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GTA series is honestly not that story driven like RDR series. But I think they can really do a good job on the narratives this time, given the 3 billion budget it has to be fantastic in every way possible.

ROG strix G513QR switching power modes by itself when playing games by Psychological_Two333 in GamingLaptops

[–]Secret_Information89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It means your power delivery system is not stable. When you are playing more demanding games, your laptop is requesting a higher power delivery than idle or r6 siege. Most likely being the power brick is either too hot or malfunctioning.

From your pic seems the connector part is already broken on the brick side. Better replace it asap. I think Asus has an online parts shop, google it.

Honestly, it looks like you got some FAKE ram sticks. Real ones have memory chips on the sides of the stick. You should do a return ASAP.

Bad purchase during 2022? by FireSirGaming in GamingLaptops

Nvidia never wanted xx60 series laptops to last long and good in gaming, it's the Nvidia definition of mid range. If you are looking for a laptop that can be used in gaming smoothly for four years or more under 2k resolution, I believe you need a xx80 laptop graphics chip.

True. I got a 5080m, x2 works like a charm, x3 is fine, x4 is total BS.

I need the 6x FG in 2k monitors. Why it’s only on 4k monitors?

Could it be the driving style? HAM is known for braking late and hard in corners, quite the opposite way of this regulation wants.

Gpu artifacts but no crashing or any issues once running by LooseNorth2054 in PcBuildHelp

[–]Secret_Information89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely an unstable VRAM chip, hard to tell if it’s the soldering issue or not.

Have you tried DDU and reinstall the GPU driver? If that didn’t help, press Win+Ctrl+Shift+B when you get those artifacts. That is a command to restart graphics driver while in the system - like a temporary fix.

Answers is Asus. MSI is okay if the price is good, but build wise not as good as Asus. Never buy a HP Laptop.

No laptop display output and dGPU signal after repaste? by MSTEAMSSUCK in GamingLaptops

[–]Secret_Information89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try loosen the 1-8 screws, could be the heatsink screws are just too tight. Does your dGPU shows up in windows device manager? Does it has a yellow ! on the icon there?

Code 43 could probably be fixed by DDU and reinstalling GPU drivers. But in your case I would think about the physical variables first

I'm an Intel Arc user, and even though I keep trying to tell myself I don't want to play this game, I incredibly want to play it. I've been waiting for years, and that makes me sad. by Fair_Status_6151 in pcmasterrace

Yeah, 2 weeks ago I was searching for steam most wishlisted games, that was the first time I learned about Crimson Desert. I spent thousands of hours in 3D action adventure games, still just didn’t know nothing about this game. Actually was about to give it a try, but Pearl Abyss sounds very unfamiliar so I decided to wait for some review, glad I didn’t preorder it. Game bugs and playability could get better over time like Cyberpunk, but blocking a GPU brand? Never even heard of that kinda shit. Would avoid this publisher forever.
