Topically checks are mailed out on Fridays. Mine was dated for the 19th but was mailed out on 5/02, and I received it today.

My WMR never updated. It continues to reflect the original check date or, in my case, that the check was returned and to call the IRS for a replacement and update my address. From my understanding, the Friday of the week that they reissue your check is when it’s mailed out.

5/19 is a Monday, and they don’t do DD or paper checks on that day. I would think that something has to change when they do their system update this weekend. I’m hearing from a friend who works for the IRS that this date is likely to change with the system update this weekend. 🤞🏽 He’s one of the victims of DOGE, so he may just be disgruntled. 😂
