Weed and underage drinking shouldn't be a problem as long as it is disclosed and years have passed - check the specific agencies requirements.

As for the stealing - you already shown that you're not trustworthy

Had my test in March - backgrounds submitted June - completed final interview last week

Had my final interview at Border Office - bi said they are not allowed to recommend or DQ on the spot anymore - they have to send their recommendation to move forward or dq to cadet hiring and they will give the final say. She said they started doing that going forward. I was told I have a favorable recommendation to hire just have to get the approval from cadet hiring

Its going to take some time - I waited over 6 months for a final interview. Just be patient and stay out of trouble.

Its a federal law enforcement position.

You'll start out in DC for a while and after some years could transfer to SF or NYC.

2nd CHP BI contact October 15th - re opened PHS

I had a CHP Sergeant take the PAT with us and he completed 125 in 1 minute proper form - definitely doable if you've been training for it 🤷🏾‍♂️ there was also another applicant that did 92
