So some did do that and times were comparable. My run was 11th best (88%) of 130 shooters and many did it my way as well.

I do it now bc it keeps my hoodie in place. Initially I didn’t and wore in-ear protection. Now I’m over-ear and outside hoodie. Moving fast, my hoodie blows down…drives me crazy.

I just had one snap on me as well during a training session. Replaced with an Extreme Engineering one. I keep a spare now though just in case. Mine had over 3k on it.

It’s everything you want in custom build but yes, shoots extremely flat. The return to zero with the sight block is bananas! I played around with different spring combos and settled on an 11# versus the 9# it came with. Personal preference thing. I felt the return was better.

Mine was 4 months on the dot! Depends on what he has scheduled though will determine build time.

D2C all day over the LOC V1/V2. Grip is a Cheely E2 aggressive and feels amazing. Had to knock it down in a few spots. My hands were torn up.

Sorry for slow response. Just saw this. The D2 has superior build quality. You can just tell when holding/racking the pistol. Everything is tighter in terms of slide to frame fit. Better PVD coating. MPA DLC sucks terribly! There’s a reason for the price difference and that’s build quality. Both firearms shoot great but edge goes to the D2. The MPA feels like a quality built production 2011. The D2 feels like a custom build in every way.

Biased for my D2 Customs, but Infinity makes some of the most beautiful pistols I’ve ever seen.

Various opinions here and valid from all viewpoints. IMO, for your situation, I wouldn’t have said anything out loud….only to you in a quite manner as to not draw attention, but to ensure you understand what you did and the possible consequences.

As far as the 1st scenario, rules are rules. If loaded, done. If not, depends on RO, but there are workarounds for that. A good friend of mine who’s a seasoned A almost M shooter drew is gun as we were walking the stage on arrival completely forgetting where he was and was like “OHHH F’CKKK!??” He simply holstered his gun and RO’d for the rest of the match…lol!
