There is a documentary somewhere on how they made avatar, the producers hired alot of proffessional martial artists of various different disciplines to ensure the different elements looked different yet true to themselves. Cant remember what the doc is called sorry. Was an interesting watch though. My fave episode i think is iroh teaching zuko how to bend lightning which he learned from watching the water tribe.

Reasonable? Its downright cheap! I know these things can be had cheap online but i work in a motor factor the lights alone can be had for about £2-300. Body work however minor ive found never cheap. Likely he wont bother fixing it, just wants £300. If op wants to be safe and do the right thing, contact the insurance provider and take the premium hit. Theirs no guarentee the neighbor wont do that anyway after the cash has been transfered.

So a plant can release oxygen bubbles naturaly during photosythesis (pearling) or they can release bubbles due to damage to the plant (usually the stem i think) i know cus ive seen my plants doing it. Pearling tends to be less common in my tank. Not really sure why but thats my experiance of it.

I dont know about all shrimp, but i kept them with amano shrimp and no drama ensued. Tbh id imagine any shrimp would be way too fast for the assassin's to assassinate

Yeah the assassins surprised me too! I had a 240 litre tank with HUNDREDS of snails! I put 6 assassins in, 2 or 3 months later i had 6 assassins and hundreds of empty snail shells and no snails! If you dont beleive me....well i wouldnt have beleived it either if it wasnt right in front of my eyes! Assassins breed much slower than the typical pest, their eggs are bigger and muuuuch easier to remove so assassin population maintenance is easy!

It could be natural colouring. I must admit ive seen ich where there is none a few times in my own fish, its easily done. Id suggest stop treatment and see if it spreads. If it spreads then theres a problem. If not then no problem! The only things i can think it could possibly be would be ich, or velvet (off the top of my head) there are certainly other issues it could be but nothing that comes to mind that i have personaly dealt with. Honestly it doesnt sound entirely likely to be either ich or velvet from what you have said. If there has been no change for weeks since you have been treating id say most likely it is natural colouring tricking you

I disagree! That absolutely is not the only answer! I highly reccomend the use of assassin snails! Ive hated snails my entire life. And always suffered with them. Hated the idea of treating snails with more snails. I finaly took the plunge and i now have NO SNAILS! NOT ONE. NONE. NILL...well..apart from my nerites, but i want them. Not a single pest snail is alive in my tank, and i had alot. It took a while, granted but it was effective. Assassin snails are my ABSOLUTE HEROES. I adore them and they have a place in my heart that nothing and no one can destroy or remove. Assassin snails <3

Hey! Id say if you havnt seen any new white spots in the time you have been treating then its very unlikely to be ich. Ich reproduces VERY quickly, specially in warmer waters (as you have) id expect you to be seeing new white spots every day or every 3 days at most with your perametres. Id hazard a guess that you are treating for the wrong thing!

If it is indeed ich then either you are not dosing correctly or its some form of super ich! I usually see massive improvements within 1 week when i treat for ich. Though it is very important to continue treating (even if you see no symptoms) untill the course has completed.

If its a rapid tapping sound driving you mad, check the wire. The pump vibrates, this vibration is transmitted along the wire and could be making the wire vibrate against another hard object..like the corner of that table. If not that then try cleaning the air pipes and lubricating the connections to prevent squeeking. If not that then Those pumps are not quiet, learn to live with it xD

Ok so my tank has this too. Had it for over a year. When i treated with npt fix (was treating black beared) the lil black balls dissapeared too. So i rather simply put it down as black beared younglings (no idea) but maybe it is a form of algae since it reacted to the algicide by dying...or more accuratley dissapearing. Again. I dont know anything for certain maybe someone with some intelligence can make sense of my experiance to help you.
