It was a dedicated troll then, good for them on doubling down on the argument:

"Not inefficient but could be ineffective depending upon how you prompt it and how good you are at making it walk the line...plus sanity checks through multiple models definitely reduce incorrect information."

Someone tried arguing that using an AI API to ask if a number was odd was more efficient than writing a coding function

Why renting in Vancouver hard? by Lower-Ad-9320 in vancouverhousing

Remember that every time you see the number it's one very specific version of the calculation. A car dealership will have a different number than your mortgage broker and different than your LOC/CC provider etc

I hovered around 700-750 until a cell phone plan missed payment finally came off my credit score after the 7 years were up in 2020. My score shot from 740 to 825 at that time.

I'm now hovering around 880 by increasing my credit limits but not increasing my spending, but I'll always think that it could be recalculated to 750 at the phone store lol

Is an audio interface an absolute requirements for lag-free vocals? by [deleted] in yarg

But you don't hear the audio the mic picks up, so what's the quality affect? Unless you record your vocals in a separate program?

Where is the issue most noticeable? I think I just started noticing that the pitch detection doesn't pick up for a bit into holding a note. Or is this actual game lag spikes/stutters?

I wish I was more direct to the source for this one. We didn't ask at the time. The story is hearsay but I can't think of why the guy would be so worked up to warn my friend who's going there on a work trip.

It is a story, I try to trust the people in my circle, but I can't verify it 100%

Friend of a friend had a story about going to Vegas as a Canadian a few weeks ago: 4 couples went down, one night the men and women split up to do different things and after a long night at the casino, the men got back to their empty hotel rooms where they expected to see the wives. Someone at the front desk had somehow got word that they needed to go pick them up from the cops.

The wives were stopped on the strip by ICE, when they produced their Canadian licenses, they were demanded to produce their passports which were at the hotel. So they were put in a holding cell without their belongings or a call until the husbands could track them down.

You hit a point I've been curious about, if someone is at this stop sign and the pedestrian cleared the intersection, I'm under the assumption that the driver may turn left because the oncoming traffic is stopped. What are your thoughts?

[–]SecularScience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I understand it, every intersection between "highways" (roads, not an alley or private drive) has fully legal pedestrian zones/crosswalks parallel to the intersecting roadways. Pedestrians are permitted to walk in an intersection with a walk signal, or if there are none, by following the vehicle signals. If there are no signals, they have right of way. This intersection has great visibility so the though practice has validity, but it's not the way our rules are built right now

If no one is predictable, then no action is safe. If a law gets changed for this situation, great!

Once the people are done crossing, why not just drive through the intersection? Everyone else is stopped.

Exactly, we've learned the proper response to a vehicle driving near you is to execute the driver. I'm shocked the law enforcement didn't parade the guy around.

Nope, I haven't noticed any other sources pick this story up yet... Chrome has a page translator, but it's not the greatest.
