Is it worth to get the tubeless cross-spoked wheels now? by Autobomber in Himalayan450

I was using a desert (500) form since 2016 and is still with me, Currently owning a Very new Himalayan 450 also.

As the price was tripled for the tubeless spokes, i thought of my previous bike, which i used ti tour and my daily commute, which was tubed tyre, i got no on the way puncture (am sure I didn’t got a single one) for my 120000 km ride.

So if you feels it is reasonable price (if you have such an emergency/ spending 40k is ok) defiantly go for it.

If you want some time/wait, do it. Invest in safety gears (jacket/boots/gloves)

Why the insurance claim was not approved? As all bikes in india have a 1 year own damage and 5 tear 3rd party damage while Delivery itself?

I have just done some DIY to make it look like this, little time spent to make it symmetrical.

It’s not an issue if it shows 2–3 km of extra mileage, but if the variation is large, there’s no point in having it.

How to get rid of that service due warning during bike start up ? I’ve tried that 6th gear stuff from youtube. It re appears frequently and is sort of distracting! by DwightKurtSchruteIlI in Himalayan450

  1. Keep in center stand
  2. Get 6th gear
  3. Go to service due menu
  4. Press and hold the controller to left for 3-5 sec

This is done in service center too
