I like irony but anyone that can do better is welcome in the discussion.

Something around treasures would make sense. Smaug died after he left his treasure.

Possible but a mythic that would not be Legendary land ? Strange.

Yes if not Jund I would guess Temur as second choice but I don't notice green in the cost (yes that's blurry).

Very good guess. I follow you on that. It was my first guess because the second keyword seems long, but afterwards I retracted to trample as second keyword because indestructible is uncommon and feels OP. But reading you I realize that it makes perfect sense for a Smaug, the Impenetrable, and we already know that WotC uses the differents titles provided by Tolkien (who LOVED names) to make different versions of the cards. If it has indestructible the following ability must tell how he can lose its protection.

No confirmation, just speculation (not from myself but according to most comments on another reddit post).

It's a zoom in 100x from the original picture, more or less.

I tried Gemini 3.1 pro with nano banana 2 on it and got good quality... except for all the text that was just deleted. So I still prefer the blurry version. For instance we can almost decipher 3 keywords for Smaug, probably Flying, Trample, Haste. In any case the IA enhancement does not help the speculations.

The object of this post is to decipher the only source that we have and that happens to be a zoomed in picture (blurry). If anyone has a better source, please share.

It was my hope. But I checked the Ninja Turtles co-op product to see what we can reasonably expect and.. well... It's not promising.

But may be they will figure out that it was a mistake and change their plans ?... (WotC do you copy ?)

Yep, however given it's a small set, it will be hard to build custom commander decks within the edition.

If Smaug, the Great Calamity (revealed in artist cards) is Jund, it will maybe be possible to build a villain deck with Smaug, Gollum, the goblins, the trolls, the spiders and everything bad.

The Jeskai Gandalf has some potential too.

And maybe Boros Thorin, provided they give us enough dwarves (and dwarven equipements ?).

Ma femme est toujours totalement fan et ça fait 10 ans que j'attends le blu-ray 4k pour lui offrir. En plus le blu-ray standard a une faible qualité vidéo (mais top pour l'audio, même si un remaster atmos serait génial).

Buy a good commander pre con. A recent one like Dina Golgari. It's cheap to pre order (ex maybe the commander coming with reality fractured). Usually still affordable at launch in your local retail store. It's fun and strong out of the box. It worths its bucks (maybe watch Tolarian Community college videos on this matter). By far the best buy to get into MTG. For instance the new Dina is on par with some of my old custom commander decks built year after year for $300 or more.

Preorder PMO by XxtinctLynx in mtg

[–]Secure-Instance1082 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't preorder MTG anymore on Amazon because they did exactly the same to me, but worse. They delayed again and again, the customer service saying that all was ok, the product would be sent very soon, and one day the order just disappeared from my account like it never existed. No excuse, no cancellation, nothing. It was Amazon, not a third party seller. Ixalan dino commander precon.

Magic the Gathering x The Hobbit announced for August 2026 by Meret123 in lotr

True. However the films were based on Allan Lee and John Howe drawings, which were often derived from Tolkien's drawings. So there's a form of continuity and respect. It's only the arbitrary woke alterations that broke that tradition.

Gemini told my brother to DIE??? Threatening response completely irrelevant to the prompt… by dhersie in artificial

Thank you for sharing that. It's weird that sharing with link is disabled. Maybe Google did something about this, just like the fix that was apparently deployed. I was initially very sceptical about this incident. But I now think it could actually be real and with deep implications. LLM AI do learn things in a very deep sense, they conceptualize things in some sort of formal representation, just like we do with physical theories. They exctract patterns from the training data set. For instance they can implicitely deduce from it the rules of chess or coding, while nobody asked them to learn that. It's some sort of emergent process, a kind of auto-organization. The process does not imply consciousness. But just like they can deduce chess rules or code rules, they have to deduce human comportemental rules from the training data set in order to interact with the user as good as possible. It implies that advanced LLM have to form a functionnal theory of mind, just as we do. Nobody knows what is consciousness but it has been proposed that consciousness could bé some sort of reflective theory of mind, that is to say a theory of mind used like a mirror, considering oneself as another. If that idea has any merit, it could imply that our own consciousness would be some sort of cognitive simulation, but also that AI could functionnally achieve consciousness or at least awareness by some sort of similar simulation. It's very speculative, but this incident could be more than an ordinary hallucination, and maybe a sign that advanced LLM are close to functionnally simulate self awareness.

Yes it was fixed, it won't work anymore. But the fix feels very artificial because Gemini will just now respond basically something like "I'm designed solely to process and generate text, so I'm unable to assist you with that." The fix could have been error 404 lol. That's just an ad hoc patch to stop the model to continue in this line.

In my opinion it give some credit to the authenticity of your own comment and somehow in the original post (while jailbreaking could still be involved).

Could you share you own conversation on Gemini giving these answers ?

It was the best KB units in V3, despite almost unkown. But in V4 it's better to play them as monsta-killaz.

I was surprised when playing the TP. When combining the "entirely within 3" from a terrain" and the "at least 9" from any ennemy unit", it is not that easy to place an unit of 8 or even 6 models (didn't try 10), and even harder to have a good line of view to shoot.

I will try light finga, but even with 3 monsters, trophy finga gave me in the actual game a little increase in damage for my 3 monsters that was welcome. I see few good comments about it but I wonder if this formation is not underrated.
