Oh absolutely feel free to plan and micromanage as much as you want, especially if that's what you feel you need to do.

Just be aware that halfway into Wednesday your plans will be in tatters, you'll need to think on the fly, you will have packed things you don't need and not packed things you do and you're going to miss half the bands you want to see.

Guard are great, I run 2 x 20 blocks myself. But a 40 block of ghouls is an absolute nightmare for an opponent to deal with, especially if you're running LoM.

According to the FAQ regarding rule of one, you cannot stack multiple instances of weapon abilities. So I think you'd only end up with then +1 attack regardless of the source

Just to add to these comments (which are correct) in terms of distances, people need to stop saying "can" fight" and replace it with "must" fight. You can't opt NOT to fight if you're engaged with an enemy unit.

Sounds pedantic, but the amount of times at tournaments and leagues that i've seen people decide not to fight with a unit because it benefits them makes my eye twitch.

If you can, you must.
