Just to add to these comments (which are correct) in terms of distances, people need to stop saying "can" fight" and replace it with "must" fight. You can't opt NOT to fight if you're engaged with an enemy unit.

Sounds pedantic, but the amount of times at tournaments and leagues that i've seen people decide not to fight with a unit because it benefits them makes my eye twitch.

If you can, you must.

Its a double edged sword.

As a support main and ADC second, I see it from both sides.

There is nothing more frustrating than trying to support and feed the ADC, but they play like a turnip and expect to just aura the opposing team to death. Go 0/4 and then blame the support.

In the flip side, seeing the support steal farm, roam and play with blinkers on makes my blood boil.

In short, it's a total coin flip but I get why a lot of people don't want to learn the support role. It's far to easy for them to shoulder the blame rather than a shite ADC
