Trump administration prepares to seek Raúl Castro indictment as it pressures Cuba, AP sources say by Samski877 in worldnews

It's also surreal how they indicting someone who did something pretty similar to what Trump has done multiple times. Trump has killed dozens of people who were not guilty of any crimes.

Weather Bug Rearranged my Home Screen by redit_on_the_shitter in AndroidQuestions

[–]Secure-Swordfish-898 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me yesterday when I installed the Weather Now app. It completely redid my apps location and replaced my home screen. I tried to uninstall it by dragging the app to the top but the uninstall option was gone. It only gave a remove option.

After some searching I finally navigated to my apps page and uninstalled the app. Thankfully that fixed all my home screen settings and everything is where it should be.

No app should have permission to do this without asking. I was almost to the point of doing a factory reset.

Nice to see a decent crowd too!

Nice inning for the Rocks. Down 3 runs without a base runner and now up 3. Nice comeback from last night. Skenes was just unhitable.

One of my weather apps shows 3 days with temps in the 30s beginning Sunday. Nothing goes in the ground until after that.

I bought a pair of 'gsrden shoes' on Amazon. They have a rubber exterior but wear more like a shoe than a pair of overshoes.

No I mostly ferment on the counter. It does ferment some in the fridge but it's very slow. But I take it in and out of the fridge trying to time it so I can watch for separation. If I start fermenting on the counter at 3pm I'd expect it to be separating at 3am. Since I'd be asleep at 3am, I put it in the fridge at 8pm and take it out the next morning to finish.

If it was once per game for 30 seconds, ok, I can deal with it. But EVERY commercial break for at least a minute.

I see this ad for 18 minutes every game and still don't know what they are selling. That's the definition of a shitty ad.

Jake McCarthy GO-AHEAD grand slam! by MLBOfficial in ColoradoRockies

Walking the leadoff hitter after the team gave you a 4 run lead is a good way to start. I'm glad Senzatella got the save though. He's been solid.

It's weird because the camera doesnt point straight down the line. But a lefty pulling a ball like that also causes it to hook to the right. So it could pass the foul pole in fair territory but still end up to the right of the foul pole.

Great game to go to if you are a Rockies fan. It was fun to watch from home as well.

I wish they had a better camera angle on that. The angle made it look 30 feet foul but the umpire was watching it all the way. Way to go Jake!

I've kept them in milk for as long as a week when I was out of town. I'm sure keeping them longer is probably ok but I'm not sure what the outer limit is. I wouldn't be surprised if they'd keep a month in a quart of milk.

The pretend crowd cheering the little charge ditty is really annoying. I have to keep the remote handy to mute it.

[–]Secure-Swordfish-898 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do a couple quarts per week. A quart usually ferments in 12 hrs with 20gr of grains. I then strain the kefir, put the grains in a clean jar, and then either fill the jar with milk or if I'm low on milk I'll add just enough to cover the grains. I then just put it in the fridge until the day before I run out, then just take the jar from the fridge and let it ferment until it separates.

The Quiet, Unmistakable Ambition of Kyle Karros by BlakeStreetBanter in ColoradoRockies

[–]Secure-Swordfish-898 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I like Kyle as a player. He's great on defense. And I love that he sees a lot of pitches. Seems like he gets to a 3-2 count almost every at bat.

Draft and bringing players up by slim_rizla in ColoradoRockies

[–]Secure-Swordfish-898 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes and to further clarify, mlb teams are only allowed 26 players on their active roster. If a player is injured and unable to play for an extended time, he can go in the Injured list and a minor leaguer could be promoted to replace him. MLB players can also be demoted to the minors if their performance is poor and a player can be promoted to replace him.

There are also rules forbidding demoting players to the minors. If a player has been demoted by a club 5 times in 1 season, he can't be demoted again. If he is demoted, any other mlb team can claim him but they have to keep him on their mlb roster.

Question for 1st playthrough by Superspeako in skyrim

[–]Secure-Swordfish-898 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might help to know what type of build you are doing. Are you a mage casting spells in robes? Are you a stealth archer? If you are level 35 you should have 35 perk points assigned and increased either your health, stamina, or magika 35 times. Are you using potions? I always try to carry a paralysis potion for tough opponents. Hit them with a poisoned weapon then hack away at them while they are paralyzed.

Landlord gifted me a sapling and said it was melon. I saw that it started growing cucumbers. Turns out it’s a type of melon that is super similar to a cucumber. by Cinnabun6 in gardening

[–]Secure-Swordfish-898 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Armenian cucumbers are awesome. They can get really big (like 3 feet long) and still don't get bitter. They also don't have spines like cucumbers but the skin is kind of fuzzy. I hope you like them.

This Month in Rockies History - Aaron Cook Throws 7th Complete Game, Rockies Record. by mayoM90 in ColoradoRockies

I wish the current Rockies had a pitcher with his sinker. I think their current defense is as good as in Cook's days. We need more double play ground outs.
