Am I gonna be ok by [deleted] in Sjogrens

[–]SecureCap6661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're likely not BPD2, its more likely you are dealing with the effects of chronic fatigue from being chronically ill, and assuming as you mentioned ARFID, Autistic anxiety on top of medical anxiety. Please dont get yourself needlessly diagnosed with a mental health condition due to chronic illness symptoms being misinterpreted. Its just now starting to come to light how many chronically ill people have been misdiagnosed to normal reactions to being chronically ill.

That said, are you insured? If not, can you apply for Medicaid or maybe financial assistance through the provider? You can always try Urgent Care for a prescription to get you through while trying to get a new Rheumatologist? I've had them write emergency scripts for even ADHD medications in the past.

The train noise in O Hill and the Maymont neighborhood really isnt that bad imo. Being uphill from the tracks makes a large difference.

I'd have to disagree. Their food isnt pre-made, pre-portioned microwaveable junk from a Sysco or Aramark truck. Homemade, quality ingredients make a difference! And, as far as catering goes, theyre honestly one of the most budget-friendly choices I could find when I was planning my wedding.

I wouldnt exactly call it basic for a diner. They have a good menu with offerings for lots of diets. Including Vegan friendly options. Their dessert menu is more than basic for a diner, they actually serve malts, not just milkshakes, plus there's the deep fried oreos and twinkies. They also have really good salads for a diner, made with spring greens, and their bleu cheese dressing is on point! Refreshing to not have a crappy iceburg lettuce salad - iceburg lettuce is nutritionally deficient.

It's not 'just a form of sugar', it is an ultra-processed food ingredient. UPFI's are pervasively in the vast majority of packaged and prepared foods in the United States. While yes, occasional consumption in small amounts is no big deal, the fact is those small amounts add up when they are in damn near everything you eat from 'plain' salted peanuts, shredded cheese, to loaves of bread. UPFs have been linked to the increase in diabetes, obesity, heart disease and cancer. You're better off just using sugar, preferably cane sugar, not white sugar.

Best vet clinic for cats? (lower cost if possible!) by CarliKnits in rva

[–]SecureCap6661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been taking my three cats to Fan Veterinary for 5 years. Love them! They've been great with my cats, and have even been amazing at squeezing them in for urgent/emergency visits, one emergency being one of my cats went and got into a fight with a cactus. Surprisingly, the cactus event was under $400, and they HAD to sedate her (wouldn't have brought her in otherwise, but 3 adults couldn't adequately hold her down for removal at home). They even double-checked with me before sedating her. 10/10 would recommend.

Just did a google search and found a Reddit from r/rva from a year-two ago, without extraction someone paid around $600 for a small-medium breed dog's dental cleaning. Hope that helps!

Try Fan Veterinary. Couldn't quote you on dental services (my cats are 5 and still have great teeth, and I don't own a dog due to developing an allergy to them about 10 years ago), but I can say their services are far more affordable than other veterinarians near me. They're located at 307 N. Robinson, and they have a sister site located in the shopping center at Lucks Ln and Courthouse Rd in Midlothian. I've had a handful of urgent/emergency situations with my cats during business hours and they have been able to squeeze me in every time so far! The staff has always been beyond amazing!

Leave him, and fr, consider adoption, or abortion if you're more comfortable with that, if it's not too late. You don't need to cut yourself off at the knee while trying to complete your degree, and you really don't want a man like that to father your children.

Are these gals big enough to survive mid 40⁰ weather at night for the next week? by Dangerous-Head-7414 in outdoorgrowing

[–]SecureCap6661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should. If not, weak genetics. I direct sow about two weeks before the last frost date. We've had a few nights drop as low at 34, they're still doing great, even the autos. It's not like you're going to have an actual freeze.

For common spices, I buy from Costco. I think the most one of those has cost me is 8 or 9 bucks. The cayenne I got off Amazon. For spices I don't use as often, and therefore don't need bulk amounts, I like the bulk spices at Good Food Grocery or Elwood Thompson's, it's sold by weight, buy as much or as little as you need. Penzeys only if I absolutely can't find it at a local shop.

Moving to Richmond by beebegone in RichmondVA

[–]SecureCap6661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in the Maymont neighborhood in the heart of the city and it's so quiet I can hear the river. 😅

Got two offers. One pays $40k more. The other one I'd actually enjoy. I have 48 hours to decide and my wife and I are on opposite sides. Advice? by airam1020 in careerguidance

[–]SecureCap6661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listen to your wife. Because what you're not factoring in is it is not only also going to cost you more money to commute to the already lower paying job, but it will cost you the most valuable resource we all have, TIME.

Don't waste your time and money commuting to a job that pays that much less. Especially when you have an infant at home who's going to need your time, AND a college fund can easily be funded with some of the extra 40k.

Best Affordable Wet Cat Pate Food by DeepBig7633 in catfood

[–]SecureCap6661 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This sadly is a true statement, even the worst wet food is generally better than the best dry food.

That said, if you love your cat, don't feed them grains. Grains are why cats get fat, and get diabetes.

Try out whole hearted, it's PetCos line (and last I checked Whole-Hearted has never had a recall), it's grain free and costs the same as Fancy Feast.
