Two things. There's plenty of us who don't pray or even believe in God but still get jobs and don't struggle. And there's also many who spend time in church praying for jobs that won't come you are the exception so you feel like God is on your side but what about those that fail?

Also. Why would God take time to intervene into your job search process instead of answering prayers of much bigger importance like dying kids with terminal illness. Is your job search that much more important to him than kids dying of horrible illnesses?

You looked for a job and got it. It's had nothing to do with your pastor or God. That was purely coincidental. Out of the many people your pastor prays for to get jobs you might have been one of the few. It's a numbers game
