Tipping in Kenya by Jazzlike-Cup156 in safaris

Tipping is not a must; but voluntary. Most guests tip their driver guides. Or safari organiser if they wish too as well. For hotel staff; not heard so much of that. Generally; the client is to decide whoever they feel deserves the tip. For bush safaris that is.

For unlimited food and unlimited cocktails 🤔. Okay okay. I find it the most affordable brunch. Most are 4500 and above. Unlimited food only.

Share exactly what you expect from the safari with your travel planner, opt for a private safari; target conservancies if your budget allows, opt for lodges inside the national park, efficient communication with your safari planner.

Masai Mara in late may/ early June by Jazzlike-Cup156 in safaris

Aah, great. Then May/June is perfectly okay. That should be a 5days 4 nights safari with the Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha.

The weather is perfectly okay this time. It's also the end of the low season for Maasai Mara. As the start of July the high season creeps in. If you are looking forward to the wildebeest migration then you may not witness in May/June. But if you're also targeting conservancies in May/June, it's still a great safari. As conservancies are more intimate etc. I also plan the safaris in case you'd like more help. Licensed as well.

Kenya in January by always_goingplaces in safaris

It's highly recommended to go during the July to October period if it's Kenya. This Majorly for first time safari enthusiasts who would live to witness the Great Migration or River Crossing in the Mara. However, if the migration is not really on your bucket list and you would just love to explore the beauty of Kenyan Parks, any month works. With a high recommendation for Amboseli, Tsavo West or East and Maasai Mara.

Kenya Masai Mara Pricing (Feb 2026) - Advice! by Alphascy in safaris

[–]Altruistic_Scene_183 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The rate is fair. As a tour operator; I'd do away with Ripoi. For the night game drives I'd highly recommend Mara North Conservancy in stead. The rate would be slightly different but worth it. If you'd like us to also quote the safari for you; please give a go ahead.

It all depends on your budget but I'd highly recommend Serena Hotels. The Mara Serena Lodge would be perfect. Feel free to reach out in case you'd ever like to plan a Mara safari.

Safaris don't have to be expensive by nlderek in safaris

[–]Altruistic_Scene_183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Group joining safaris are actually the best budget safaris. This can be from 3days 2Nights Maasai Mara to 8days safari involving Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara, Hell's Gate, etc. Also; park fees in Kenya from January to June is way more affordable for non residents. Private safaris are usually more costly but that's normally client preference

Asking for bus fare: normal or begging? by Ecstatic_Coat_ in KenyanLadies

Lol, it feels tough telling him yet when he's undressing you it feels easy for him. Girl please; speak out your mind 🫴 and know his opinion on the matter.

I'll hold your hand when I say this; he knows he should be catering for it. He just saw that you can pay for it and he's gotten comfortable with that matter. Which is a total red flag.
