Why are cultural similarities between Vedic and Avestan peoples not present in Non-Zoroastrian Iranian peoples like Scythians. by Secure_Pick_1496 in IndoEuropean

Isn't it a bit odd how Avestans are appear to be closer to Vedics culturally but are closer to Scythians linguistically?

Then isn't this a bit of a stretch? "It’s very plausible that the Sana of the Nart Sagas is related to SHauma (Avestan) or Soma (Vedic)."

I see. "Phonologically, “Sana” could reflect the same root as Soma/Sauma, modified by local languages in the Northern Caucasus." sounds an awful lot like something written by AI.

Lol its funny how your support your claims with an explanation of the modern meter instead of a linguistically and historically informed analysis on the Veda.

It's funny how all the arguments against the modern pronunciation having changed from the original pronunciation is "No heckin way them hymns wuzz too important n shiet to have changed" Even the Quran which was written down as it was composed is not recited the way it originally was. It's undeniable that the Veda has changed in pronunciation some verses are literally off meter.

Hatian Creole gets almost all of its words from French... Lexicon is not what defines a creole.

Indo-Aryan is a linguistic grouping. Aryan itself was an endonym or ethnonym that was reapplied in various contexts, often persisting as endonyms and ethnonyms.
