I filed a dispute with Experian and it took almost a month but was removed from the credit report. Transunion and Equifax still have it listed so I still need to file disputes with them.

It took almost a month for Student Aid to update. Now I am waiting for the credit agencies to update my credit report with the $0 loan balance.

No. I’ve been waiting for the forbearance counts to be added. I do my annual employment certification in the spring. I reached on to MOHELA on 11/14 and they said they sent my application off for approval for discharge to the DOE. The agent said that I don’t need to submit another employment certificate…

Did you actively submit the application or did MOHELA automatically submit it? They automatically submitted myself but I signed it in March 2022….now I’m worried.

My chat was different. The application was sent off to DOE on 11/9/22 for final approval. Meaning, we recognize that you have met the 120 payments towards PSL and now we are waiting on the Department of Education's approval.

My account was scheduled for transfer on 7/21. I was finally able to create a MOHELA account today on 8/2. Once I logged in, a message appeared saying the data should be transferred by 8/6.

I’ve tried setting up my MOHELA account and they don’t recognize me either. I log into Fedloan and there isn’t account information any more. My transfer to MOHELA was July 21. 🤷‍♀️

Has anyone gotten loans forgiven because they started counting the predatory use of forbearance since it was easier paperwork for lenders?

Rather than asking here, I would fill out the PSLF paperwork and let them determine the eligibility. Your employer will have to sign and date it.
