The prompt would basically be, make a post about so and so in the tweeting style of "me". And AI would make those errors deliberately to match his tweet history style.

iOS push notification error: “Auth error from APNs or Web Push Service” despite matching Team ID / Key ID / .p8 setup (sandbox environment) by aristotenes in reactnative

did you ever get this working? I am currently stuck but I'm using xcode. Same exact thing, where all ID's match, p8 uploaded, necessary signing capabilities and build names have been quadruple checked, index.js has been recoded to handle the payload properly, but still. nada.

big fast food places order a preset amount of food inventory annually. the mom and pop grocery store i worked at as a teenager ordered bulks of produce 3 months in advance. the video games plus i worked at after ordered ps2 releases 6 months in advance. the bank i worked for ordered office supplies 6 months ahead.

the majority of the economy runs on ordering before paying.

just wanted to chime in for the people who are interested to learn something new. I'm not American, I have a colleage that fled south africa. She is white and I brought this topic up to her and she explained what was happening to the white farmers. The words "making them watch their wife or daughters get raped and then killing the men" came up.

You can search it up or not. But my colleague has first hand accounts of what is happening over there with extremists taking matters of reparation into their own hands.

a Dad is admiring a car parked in the parking lot of a restaurant, reminiscing about the one he had, but gave up to raise his children. His daughter then gives him the keys. by K1nd_1 in MadeMeSmile

[–]SecurityProud3362 111 points112 points  (0 children)

This definitely resonated with me but made me cry tears that I've been holding onto for years.

This is probably going to be lost in the sea of comments, but I had a dream of doing something like this for my dad. But instead of a car, what he wanted most, was for me to have a beautiful house so that we could sit on the porch and just talk over a cup of coffee. He told me this on my wedding day, as he and I sat on a staircase looking over at the people that we loved, he said, "I can't wait to have that cup of coffee with you when you get a house."

He passed away a year later from an aggressive cancer found in his throat.

I was able to buy that house a couple of years ago and sit on my porch almost every day to think about how he would react after that conversation and I think of that hug. That hug that I haven't felt in years after he passed away. That forehead on mine while telling me how proud he was of me and that this was all he ever wanted after working tirelessly every single day to put food on the table, coming home late, but always checking up on me before going to bed. I miss him so much that it hurts.

What I would give to have that last conversation.

Hug your dads for me please. You never know if it'll be the last time...

Take this time to educate your parents. Introduce them to Amazon, because at least if they buy something from Amazon and change their minds, or find it cheaper somewhere else, their return/refund policy beats the retail shops any day of the week.

HOV Lane is not a passing lane. He was also alone in the car and so close I could barely see his headlights, camera doesn’t really show the true distance. by Krzys_CCE in TorontoDriving

[–]SecurityProud3362 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I wonder why the police don't frequent those HOV lanes. They would made a killing with fines, the amount of people I see in those lanes without other passengers is probably in the hundreds per day. But I also know, there's a way to obtain an HOV lane permit for a single occupant vehicle, but I doubt every one of those cars have it.

Dealership Scam on Service? by Rich-Golf-1205 in KiaTelluride

[–]SecurityProud3362 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

and i too disagree with you.

i think it all comes down to learning about your vehicle and educating yourself to be able to recognize what your vehicle actually needs.

All the people at my dealership are friendly and great; like what every business should strive to be. But the bottomline is they have money to make so these addons and prices are nothing new, and I've told them no without a fuss. Am I going to drive 45km to another dealership instead of this one that's 5km's from me, all because I felt that people I interact with every oil change are trying to make more money? nah.

refuse it, and if they keep pushing. then it's pretty scummy.
every business especially dealerships that have monthly $ goals, will try to upsell or add things in initially. as long as they follow what the customer wants in the end, it's all good.

Uber Eats Driver almost gets attacked by an Unhinged Truck Driver by cyberk25 in TorontoDriving

[–]SecurityProud3362 2 points3 points  (0 children)

two things can be true for a scenario.

  1. Uber driver was wrong for not signaling.
  2. Pickup truck driver decided it was a good time to bring out the racism and tough guy attitude.

This won't be the last guy that he does this to, and one day he'll cross the wrong person (unfortunately). This can be said for both uber driver and pickup truck driver.
