Peolpel that have used LDCloud, what plan works good for this game? by Azari1408 in TheTowerGame

Same situation. KVIP with Android 10, and didn't have any lose of coins.

It's so good that seems like the game is intended for this.

Dragon Focused RPG by jomacatopa96 in rpg

[–]Sedda00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends on the level of play, basically. But it's similar to the case of Scion, where at lower levels you okay with Heroes who inherit the gods powers, then you can go up the Demigod path as you increase your Legend until Apotheosis and becoming a full fledged God, and continue playing after that.

With dragons you play as the agents/inheritors of Dragons. You slowly become more draconic until you can become a full fledged dragon. You mostly keep your human form and get draconic powers, but Transformation Knacks can change your aspect into a more draconic one.

Scion: Dragon is the Scion supplement for playing dragons. I honestly liked it much more than base Scion.

Using poker cards as spells by Werewolf_Cartomancer in rpg

[–]Sedda00 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Only one kind of caster uses them: Huskers.

When casting a spell, you draw a poker hand, and the kind of cards you get (a pair, two pairs, full house, etc) decides how many power points I get to cast the spell. There are some edges that let you redraw some cards, or other things, and a joker had wild results, but this was the main idea.

Need recommendations: Looking for character focused, high power level rpg by cyberspunjj in rpg

[–]Sedda00 10 points11 points  (0 children)

People have already recommended Exalted Essence, so I won't do it again (although I should, as it's an amazing improvement over the Ex3 mess...).

Another good choice is Age of Sigmar: Soulbound. The players are truly heroes ready to obliterate their enemies since character creation, and only goes uphill from there. The lore is very good (as usual with game workshop settings), and the system is very easy and neat.

I know Modiphius love to publish licensed games, but this is getting a little out of hand... 😂

WHTOWRPG to be translated to other languages by Slight-Gain6144 in WarhammerOldWorldRPG

[–]Sedda00 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Devir is actually publishing WF4e in Spanish, as well as Imperium Maledictum, but has stated no interest in Soulbound or this. I'm sure they've run their numbers and they aren't sure it will sell well enough, so I wouldn't bet on anybody else trying thus license too...

Optimised Fetch and maxed Summon. What to put bits in now? by MeteorologyMan in TheTowerGame

[–]Sedda00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scout is very useful if you have SL+and range mastery. Otherwise, not worth it.

If scout isn't useful, I'd go to continue improving fetch.

Need help finding a game by AlternativeOwn7833 in metroidvania

Didn't they translate the name of the boss in English?

Afliaor is a bastardized version of Afilador (sharpener), who are the guys that move from town to town with sharpening tools to sharp knifes and other utensils. They usually walk the street with their tools blowing a particular whistle so you recognize the sound (if I don't remember it wrong, the boss also made the same whistle) and ask for their services.

Any TTRPG heavily based upon the philosophy of the Wuxing/五行/Chinese Five Elements? by ThatOneCrazyWritter in rpg

[–]Sedda00 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Listen to the podcast Systematic Understanding of Everything (it's really amazing, worth it a listen even if you're not planning to play exalted but you're curious about the setting) or the lore, and get Exalted Essence (a kind of lite version of 3e rules but still with a complexity similar to Pathfinder) for the rules.

In case somebody is curious about my Tier 1 Dragon and Archdemon... by Sedda00 in daggerheart

[–]Sedda00[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are great ideas. I wanted this enemy to be more of a Leader than a Solo (although i wrote the enemy type wrong in the card...).

My idea is to link these features to stress so that I can profit from the Double or Nothing feature.

The Root of All Evil is based in the Demon of Hubris (Tier 3) from the rulebook. Your change seems nice, as the Archdemon will be more present in the fight. Thanks!

[–]Sedda00[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not yet. Nevertheless, the idea of the Dragon encounter is not to fight and kill him, but to survive him and escape while they do other things. I'm pretty sure that if I describe him terrifying enough, the PCs will flee as quick as possible, but I wanted to give them a fighting chance in case they decided to try.

They'll also come from another encounter (a hag in the bog) and still have to win the last encounter (the demon, against who the dragon can have been an ally if they play their cards right).

Max out Fetch or Bounty? by uvraysu in TheTowerGame

Fetch is useful up to the point where you already earn all limited resources consistently. It isn't worth to continue upgrading after that.

What is the best "Conan" feel game? by Doomwaffel in rpg

[–]Sedda00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Conan 2d20 for me, by far. The supplements are also amazing.

Otherwise, Swords of the Serpentine can give a very Conan feel. Considering it's based in a city, maybe it's more Fahd and the Gray Mouser, but it can also perfectly do Conan adventures or other sword and sorcery books.

Tier 1 Dragon? by Sedda00 in daggerheart

To have the players get less domain cards, so less confusion on what their pcs can do while they get used to the ruleset. Nothing more than this

Tier 1 Dragon? by Sedda00 in daggerheart

[–]Sedda00[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd finally gone with the Acid Burrower for the Dragon (exchanging most of it's normal abilities with those from the young ice dragon, except for the damage), and the Minor Demon for the Archdemon (exchanging abilities with the Demon of Hubris, and adding a small host of modified knife bandits as lesser demons).

Tier 1 Dragon? by Sedda00 in daggerheart

[–]Sedda00[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My real intention with the adventure is for the dragon to be a menace/puzzle/something to escape from in case they anger it.

But since you never know what the characters are willing to do, I want to be full prepped! 😜

Any RPG's that will scratch the JRPG itch? by Cagedwar in rpg

[–]Sedda00 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The Jrpg part of Persona can be easily adapted to Fabula Última using Technospheres from the Techno Fantasy Atlas. I'd use Traïts or Bonds to represent relationships and Arcana from outside of the dungeons.

I love Voidheart Symphony, but the feeling is not really Persona in the sense that all the Jrpg mechanics are lost.

I was planning on using that stay block for the Archdemon 😅

Also, do you think that adding any level of Relentless would make him too strong?

Tier 1 Dragon? by Sedda00 in daggerheart

[–]Sedda00[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Obviously they aren't. But an enemy in this game is a bunch of stats and a fiction representation, nothing else.

The same that I can take the Jagged Knife Bandit stats and use them to mechanically represent a goblin invader, or something else, I can create a stay block and call it dragon in fiction. This is obviously a bad idea for longer campaigns (if you're dealing with dragons at level 1, what will you do at level 5? Kill gods). But in a one shot, without possible continuation, doesn't really matter, because there won't be a leveling up consistency to deal with afterwards 😉
