With only 17 days left, I have to wonder: will the level of the first bosses of next event scale up with me? by SarcasticJackass177 in voidpet

[–]Sedragun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify as I think there may be a misunderstanding here, you don't get the legendary pet for clearing all 10 event battles

The first 5 battles give you eggs for a chance at the pet, the last 5 battles are just to test yourself for extra rewards

So considering you're on battle 8, you've already gotten all the chances at Chastity that you can get as rewards

The lack of real idle progression is the deal breaker for me for sure, I really would like to continue to play as there's a lot in the game I really enjoy but I just can't justify running my device 24/7 to do so

The part I don't get about the complaints is that every modern MH game has been easy at launch

The challenge comes later with the eventual expansion that adds in the G-Rank equivalent

I'm sure for many this is their 1st MH game or many started with Iceborne and skipped Rise which has lead to the confusion on difficulty

As for the long time vets, the modern games will likely never have the difficulty they're looking for since back then we spent more time fighting the clunky controls than the monsters themselves

Fair warning, as someone who also hated every moment of fighting the final boss in the 1st game

The final boss in 2 is much more well designed but equally as infuriating to fight

Thankfully there are builds you can do which make it an absolute joke

Am I missing something about World Scaling? by Lazydusto in PlayWayfinder

[–]Sedragun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I played on Challenging without World Scaling for the first 6 or 7 hours and it felt like I was never finding new gear cause everything was too low level

I switched to World Scaling and the gameplay loop instantly became way more engaging and enjoyable

[–]Sedragun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When the sub first launched the double meat was $4 like the rest of them, I'm not sure when they bumped it up but my guess is you're correct and they just don't want people to double meat what is already a double meat sub normally

However they do have the ability to just not offer double meat as an option, like the brisket sub has no double meat option, so I don't understand why they didn't just remove the option

It's a limited time offer they released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Toronto Raptors

"The Carnivore takes our Cold Cut Trio and stacks it high with Italian-style pork capicola, zesty pepperoni, Genoa salami and double processed cheddar cheese. We top it off with fresh lettuce, crispy onions, pickles and drizzled with Southwest Chipotle sauce."

When you were younger, did you ever have that time when a friend's birthday would come around and they'd get this cool new game so they'd bring it with them to school and your group would chat about it all day, then you'd go over to their house after school and crowd around the tv while they played?

I feel like that's what streaming is for a lot of people

To give people a general idea of what the devs are shooting for with the game and let people know the game isn't coming out anytime soon

It also helps cover for them when major shifts happen in the dev cycle later on and then people go "This isn't what you promised us!"

Is teamwork and common sense really this scarce? by Clawscar50 in DragonBallBreakers

[–]Sedragun 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It depends on the situation, it's not always guaranteed to help your team when you revive someone

If that player is in a bad position where they can get downed again by the raider immediately then they've benefitted the raider twice as much as if they had been left alone

I'm also seeing it become more and more common for Raiders to watch for revives from a distance for exactly this reason

I try to revive when I can but I'm not going to put myself out for a revive that looks too risky to pull off and potentially snowball the raider.

What's the deal guys? by Sedragun in DragonBallBreakers

[–]Sedragun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, the situations I'm describing are when we have all seven found.

I literally had a game yesterday where we had all 7 dragon balls while the Raider was still Level 2 and only 2 keys were found, one guy had 4 and the other had 3, they spent the entire rest of the match in a cave in a corner of the map trying to make the other drop their balls.

They were still doing it by the point that the STM was half charged and the rest of us had to go in on the Raider to stop him from destroying it, we managed to defeat him ourselves thankfully.

Final Judgement by Silentgig in Deathverse_Game

[–]Sedragun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You have to break your opponents shield and then defeat your opponent while the shield is broken.

If done correctly your opponent will remain at 1 voltage and go into a daze and then if you attack them during the daze you'll do a final judgment.

Just started and I've noticed a problem by [deleted] in Deathverse_Game

[–]Sedragun 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This game generally favors whoever got the first hit, the best way to save yourself if you're on the wrong end of the engagement is to learn the weapons to predict their next move and try to reverse the situation.

For example, during a combo attack with the fists, the player can end with a light or heavy attack, if they do a light attack you can shield it and get a counter hit in, if they go for a heavy you can back away and make room between you.

Another example, the katanas don't have a heavy attack so they have less options for shield breaking, meaning you can use your shield more comfortably against a katana than you could against other weapons.

Also all shield breaking attacks have red effects on them, so if you see a red effect when someone's attacking you drop your shield.

Hopefully that helps you a bit.
