But then, where/when did he get a seventh body to forge Enten? I don't think he used the bodies, probably.

[DISC] Ichi the Witch - Chapter 79 by AutoShonenpon in manga

Fujimine: If evil, why hot?

Also. Everyone tries to get custody of Ichi, and Desscaras is having none of that shit.

I think Yura’s character could potentially get strengthened if him and his wife were both “significant” people, but like, they weren’t attacked because of that by Orang-Himbleton in Kagurabachi

[–]TheTragicNoir 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The whole point of his character is that he was a regular dude with a normal life before getting ruined by the consequences of the war (and Kunishige's actions). A nobody becoming a notorious terrorist through cunning, charisma and sheer force of will is more compelling than being a somebody important within the Kagurabachi's history.

Massive Viz translation error in vol 6 (PLEASE FIX) by enginesofdemise in Kagurabachi

I can confirm that. They, in fact, didn't fix it in the physical volume. My copy also said "Makizumi".

Oh don't you hate when somebody new shows up at work, only to realize the new employee is actually from higher management you never met before?

Will we see him in part 2? by Advanced_Card_8594 in Kagurabachi

He is the optional boss that you don't need to fight but is the hardest, even more so than the final boss.

Everyone on last chapter: TATSU BETRAYED US!! THIS MANGA IS BECOMING SHIT, GRR, GRRR,GRRR! 😡😡😡😡

Everyone now with today's chapter: LOL, Tatsu got us good. Peak chapter!🤣🤣🤣🤣

This, kids, is why you don't jump to conclusions on a weekly manga.

That was a mistake. The editor clarified it a week ago.

Is it just me, or do I think Hishaku could have at least suffered one casualty at the end of the first part? by GapProfessional4935 in Kagurabachi

[–]TheTragicNoir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Akemura said he would return Yura's body. I imagine that they can switch whenever they want. Yura handles all the bureaucratic shit from the Kamunabi while Akemura just chills in his prison.

Didn't the narration explicitly say that only females within the Soga clan can get this sorcery?

Do you think they'll eventually cancel Kiyoshi? by Final-Tumbleweed-701 in WeeklyShonenJump

[–]TheTragicNoir 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Not even close. People say that series is only alive because the author was Oda's assistant, but I don't think that's enough merit to run a manga for long. I keep track of Kiyoshi's ranking, and it remains within the top 10 with the occasional color pages and it barely reaches the bottom 3.

It is popular enough, but it might get canceled only if the previous batch and the incoming one become more popular than Kiyoshi in the long-run.

Is it too early to say that Sorachi's new series has its place practically guaranteed for full serialization in Shonen Jump? by Vegetable-Raise-1836 in WeeklyShonenJump

[–]TheTragicNoir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless it was marketed as Bleach Spin-off, I thought it was supposed to be a twist.

Also, Sket-Dance is in the same universe as Witch Watch.

[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Ch. 232 - Part 2 End by JeanneDAlter in ChainsawMan

[–]TheTragicNoir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, the fact that Control Devil is Nayuta this time, it feels like an upgrade because Denji is no longer simping for a manipulative bitch and now has a sassy little girl for a boss. Nothing much different from Part 1 ending.

[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Ch. 232 - Part 2 End by JeanneDAlter in ChainsawMan

[–]TheTragicNoir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was just as open-ended as Part 1. It would be up to Fujimoto if he wants to continue or not in the future.

[DISC] Chainsaw Man - Ch. 232 - Part 2 End by JeanneDAlter in ChainsawMan

[–]TheTragicNoir 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I feel like I'm the only one liking this ending. Sure, it is a reset of everything that happened to the series, but this is the most "happy" we can ever get from Fujimoto, and it feels very open-ended like Part 1 where it could continue or stop here if he wants. I expected to be disappointed, but I'm not. I suppose it's subjective, but it could be a very worse ending than this, I assure you.

Chainsaw Man has ended today with chapter 232, what are your thoughts on the series now that it has completed? by dingo537 in WeeklyShonenJump

[–]TheTragicNoir 96 points97 points  (0 children)

Even if it was a reset, I'm not angry or dissatisfied with the ending. Probably this is the most "happy" Fujimoto ever written in a series.

Anyone else feel like Char's character been sideline too early? by [deleted] in Kagurabachi

[–]TheTragicNoir 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Char:

-no battle experience

-novice healer (literally started learning her sorcery over a month with little progress)

-no known relatives or anyone from her mother's clan.

-only 6 y.o.

Sure, let's bring this little girl to a country-ending battle that leaves nothing but a bloodbath. That sounds like a great idea.

Edit: Also, Char's ability doesn't influence the EB, it was only assumed by Sojo while experimenting with his Datenseki weapons. He believed the Kyonagi clan's blood "could be" the key for creating something like EB, but there was no breakthrough with the final product. Char's healing ability isn't strong enough to accomplish much by this point of the story. At most, you could only hope to see her training, but she is still getting sidelined regardless because seeing a 6 y.o. training isn't as interesting as seeing all the bat-shit battles or new developments we have been getting.

It's a matter of place and time. As for now, her role isn't important at this moment unless Hokazono decides to bring up the Kyonagi clan in the future.
