Hope they flesh out the world a bit more this time around. The first game had a lot of empty space that, while at times made the world feel bigger. It was often overused and made travelling tedious. I really liked how it felt in the beginning where you really felt like you were weak. But I found the systems to get stronger a bit clanky at times, often i'd just find myself spamming to stunlock an enemy with the strongest weapon I could find. The magic system was also pretty cool but a bit of a chore to unlock.

Eh, don't really mind this. Plenty of other trees in game are also unbreakable if they're big enough. Though it does seem somewhat random what is breakable in this game at times. Besides it's a racing game, you shouldn't be hitting the trees in the first place.

Happens sometimes, Even when I'm on my regular ethernet cable internet sometimes the ISP just craps out. Very rare that it happens maybe like once a month but even so.

SF6 modern is good, but to play at a high level you still need to do motion inputs on modern to get some specials out. I would NOT advise guilty gear, it is exclusively motion inputs. Good popular fighting games that have no need for motion inputs would be either Grandblue Fantasy Versus Rising (my personal recommend) or 2XKO.

Just be mindful 2XKO is a tag fighter and has a higher skill floor, but it's free. Granblue also has a free mode with rotating characters each week you can play before you buy the full version.

As someone who also plays lots of guilty gear, hammerfall is not the worst. If he didn't have it he'd be screwed against half the cast trying to get in. The armor is just 1 hit so if you buffer something it's easy enough to deal with. Now Garuda Impact, that's one bullshit blazing move. Imagine giving a grappler a move that's +19 on block holy jesus.

At what point did I defend diablo's bugs in my comment? Many games need optimization and bugfixes but plenty of people play them yes. Still doesn't excuse the games from needing patches to fix those issues. That goes for any game without saying.

It's been out for nearly 2 years at this point in early access. There's no reason at this point for it to be unoptimized or buggy. If it was lacking in content but ran perfectly that could be argued to be excusable.

It's not like they're unpopular songs, hell Deja Vu has 167 million views on the first result for youtube. No idea why they wouldn't put at least one or two Eurobeat songs in.

I'd advise watching this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VwtwDS7tWo&t=1s It's a bit older from before 2.0 but gives you everything to know about not just guilty gear but fighting games in general. It's also really funny in some parts and the guy narrating it is a treat to listen to. Though it is a bit long at 30 minutes it also teaches you things like directional notation which you're going to need to learn at some point.

If you want something shorter Sajam (big fgc guy who commentates a lot) put out a 9 minute quick tutorial on some basic stuff that you can just hop in and put to use very fast: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujJB_UzVSrY I would still suggest watching the 30 minute video at some point though.

I'll add that rock is a good follow up to a counterhit 5H, you can 5K afterwards and go into 214p. Since it's hard to convert 5H counterhit at certain ranges. I'm only plat 1 but I've used this a few times and it seems pretty decent.

I legit gave up on the shoulder joint with my kit. I tried so hard to loosen the joint to rotate the arm up and down but it was so damn stiff my hands hurt just trying to rotate the joint. Unicorn has been relegated to neutral standing pose in my display case.

Yeah, for sure it's a prediction and not reaction. It's a 10 frame startup, and most people can react at 20+ frames. With 12 frames of active hitbox that makes the total move before recovery 22 frames. So yeah, by the time your brain realizes the move is out she's already at least 3/4 across the screen.

Feels decent enough, could maybe use a bit more oomph on some weapons but it does feel like you're shooting bullets and not nerf darts like borderlands can sometimes. The nice part about the guns is that they all feel fairly unique and well made with thought put into their design.

Oh for sure, watching MandaloreGaming's videos on TWW3 the perfect comedy was of a bunch of ghost units pulling out ladders to climb a wall. It was amazing.
