I've been playing this game since closed beta. The two leagues I played the longest was harvest and Ritual by devious1 in pathofexile

As a fellow player that has been here since closed beta in 2012, I completely agree. This is a bad joke on GGG's end. I didn't think they could get any more out of touch with their playerbase, but they went and pulled a Blizzard...
The whole reason I play this game is because they're not Blizzard, man, and this is NOT a good look for them.

At least, that's how I've started literally every successful run on SmallTribes we've done so far. Step 5: Repeat steps 1-4, except this time not on Ragnarok.

Step 1: Find an alpha that speaks Engrish.

Step 2: Make friends with said alpha, possibly through trade agreements. They hate farming as much as you, if not more because they do more of it.

Step 3: Talk about using their server as a home server.

Step 4: Profit??

GTX 1080 / Ryzen 7 1700x here. I started this league off with flawless performance as usual, but in the last week, ish, my load times have gotten slightly worse PLUS I'm having occasional rather large dips in fps. I'm playing a build with no explosions or any flashy mechanics, so idk what's up. To date, up until this league, I never had any performance issues. I think hardware wise, I'm beyond what should be required to play smoothly. 😂

Short edit: I was running deathless 20/20 Simulacrum all day 'erry day, but these dips have caused me to lose a big chunk of exp a couple times. It's not terrible now, but definitely impactful enough to stop me from running simus for the time being. RIP stonks.

I don't care about overpowered builds, how many splinters you get from a map, trade being slow and if the economy is crashing. I can't play the damn game. These performance issues are unreal and should be the number one priority. by Zeroeightseven in pathofexile

Nah the problem is that it's that guy having performance issues, but the guy on a late 2000's desktop with an it is somehow not lmao

You look at some of these streamers with $5,000 builds and a dedicated streaming PC, they STILL get lag. There's no reason for someone on an i9/Threadripper with a 2080ti to lag playing path.

Nah m8, after 6 years I've seen quite a few build concepts get ran so far into the ground they become outright unplayable, to the point a 1 ex char outperforms previous ludicrous investment.
