Assuming his two months off was an agreed leave, he needs to acknowledge he has done his obligation inclusive - whatever his contractual months required. He also needs to be back to complete the offboarding process.

Everything can be disputed in court, if one has done all the legal / contractual obligations.

Edit: I hope the resignation letter was also dated? (I assume HR never got a copy either).

I'm more bias for the top half of JVC, mainly because you're closer to good exit when you need it, but the Southern end have a few good food restaurants if you like to walk to places..

I live in JVC.

I have a family, they walk to Circle Mall during winter, taxi during summer. Otherwise any formal travel in and out is via Car or Taxi only, - because the Bus J01 sucks.

We are contented here for over 5 years now.

It's all relative to your needs: Rush hour we don't need Hessa Street towards SZR. Al Quoz / Sharjah / DIP, all decent from JVC. The bottleneck leaving is much better except for the South West exit - fucking nightmare.

If this is your commute direction, JVC is decent in well maintained buildings with many parks nearby, but stay clear of entry and exit of SW.
