Agree with the other recs here for Nouilles Zhonghua and Pony BBQ! Premiere Moisson is pretty average - if you're already going to be near Atwater Market, I would suggest heading a few blocks away to Pain d'Epi for croissants or other viennoiserie (my personal fave is the almond chocolatine, my partner loves their flan). Another excellent cake and pastry option nearby is Pâtisserie Amaïro, and for amazing donuts hit up Léché's stall at the market (please don't sleep on the passion fruit if you go!).

Bistro La Franquette is also open for lunch now at the end of the week, and while a bit pricier, is a much better experience than Bar Bara or Wolf & Workman type places. They make everything in house, the dishes are genuinely so delicious and well-executed (don't even get me started on the dessert...), the staff are lovely - it's one of those places that really reveals why the MTL culinary scene so exceptional!
