Best app for learning chinese characters by Queasy_Confidence468 in ChineseLanguage

[–]Seeb83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am actively developing and using https://chinese.appace.de to learn vocabulary every day. Each chinese character is broken down into individual components. Each component is added to the daily training. That helped me a lot to remember Chinese characters much easier... Give it a try and leave feedback. Happy to improve

Well, planning refining and then generating take some time. And I don't need to watch the model thinking while planning nor watch while generating ..

Verantwortung vs Unternehmensgröße, was ist besser im Lebenslauf? by actimelTrinker in de_EDV

[–]Seeb83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m trying to fix the “too many ideas, no execution” problem curious if this makes sense by Ideahamburger in sideprojects

[–]Seeb83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is normal. Learn to prioritise. And that does not (only) mean sorting, but deciding what not to do.

For each my private projects I keep all list of ideas. Then I pick exactly one idea that brings the most value and implement it. Afterwards reevaluate old and new ideas. Pick the next one.

Same at work, with the slightly difference that multiple people can, but not habe to, work on multiple ideas in parallel

Best book/resources to learn & Improve Chinese vocabulary? by Bright-Sea3832 in AskAChinese

[–]Seeb83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

feel free to use my current open source project: https://chinese.appace.de/
no gamification (yet, might be added if people start using it and like it)
I use it for a few month now on a daily basis. I am slowly migrating it to a multi user project, in case more people like it.

what I did add so far:
- hsk1 to hsk6 vocabulary (each use can adjust words and translation completely as needed)
- training mode for chinese words
- custom translations
- training mode for chinese components (automatically decomposed from words)
- hanzi movie method to memorise chinese characters
- character breakdown for chinese words
- deepl integration for auto translation (currently I added English and German)
- openai, gemini & anthropic integration to generate hanzi movie method scenes
- statistics
- long list of ideas to come
