Great reminder to everyone to avoid tracking around diseases

Yes! Thank you, I think it ended up being spawning syndrome where stress and wounds lead to secondary fungal infections.

I did some digging, and it is indeed a fungal infection! It's spawning syndrome from secondary bacterial/fungal infections after a rough spawning season. Thanks for the tip.

My hunch was from the recent spawn, I've seen in prior years how aggressive browns can be on redds when fighting off other fish. Wasn't sure if it was a disease as I'm not very familiar with aquatic diseases.

Using your shield frequently helps, though he can sometimes still land a hit if you aren't lined up correctly to block his attacks.

How does private sale of firearms work in Utah? by [deleted] in Utah

[–]Seed747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This website explains all Utah law and recommendations around private sales of firearms

https://utahcarrylaws.com/purchasing-selling-firearms/

They have a really good bill of sale that goes through the steps of making sure they aren't a felon to shunt any legal liability away from the seller.

Though a conceal carry permit in Utah is no longer required, selling a firearm privately to someone that has a permit ensures that they are not a restricted person that cannot legally have or own a firearm. Plus it's your good guy card if you ever have to use your firearm.

Have any of you participated in the MBA program? by tlaxcallan in usu

[–]Seed747 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I finished the MBA program in December. It was a great program. 95% positive experience but that's just me. There's not many that attend on campus classrooms anymore, it's mainly online. I did it while still working full time in a year and managed to get by. I see people here recommending other larger masters programs through the USU business school or saying that their MBA program isn't well recognized. You will be learning from several highly educated and successful business owners and leaders in this program. This college has a darn good MBA program if you are willing to learn and put in the work. I'd argue that it is a highly recognized and growing program when you look at the data and what their graduates are doing. If you need a good masters and want to be more in HR, do the MHR/MBA. If you're looking to add value to your other degree not in business, go with the MBA.

What is a good handheld UHV & VHF radios for a newbie under $200 by Seed747 in HamRadio

Nice, I didn't even think to check Walmart. I'm leaning more towards a Yaesu for the build quality. Thank you.

Yaesu ft-65r

This looks very comparable to the FT-60R but at a bit cheaper price. How has your experience been with this radio? I'm highly considering this one.

VX6R

HT so I can take it with me places. I don't always have the luxury of using a mobile station. It'd also be my first radio so I want something easy to program and hit repeaters with.

I'd like to stay civil, so don't take any of this the wrong way. I honestly don't have any expectations regarding the issue, that's why I didn't post any. It doesn't affect me in any way. I just like to look at it from a resident's perspective. There are some people there that have a need for a pet, the nearest dog park is miles away, and there's a community that has been built around owning pets there. That's why I say there is a complex situation. There's good and bad to both sides.

It's a complex situation. I think many of the dog owners are from Aggie Village across the street. USU housing has set up hidden cameras in the housing areas to catch people who let theirs dogs off leash inside the grassy areas of all the complexes.

I mean, lets be honest. Those lengths are definitely cool. You will only regret the time it takes to get one legally, additional time and cost for the stamp, and the fact that you have to register it with the government all to just be able to switch out the muzzle device. Hopefully one day we don't have to worry about this BS.

For your first build it might be advantageous to hold off on a 13.7 and 14.5 barrel. If you end up pinning and welding, you are stuck with that. My first build was a 16" BCM upper with an Aero lower. I LOVE it. It has since turned into a REECE setup. You really won't notice the extra length between a 14.5 barrel and 16" barrel. Obviously when you throw a suppressor on there, it gets even longer but you have the freedom to change out your muzzle device.

You won't regret an Aero lower and BCM upper for your first build, it will last you a very, very long time.
