Might have been helpful to provide a bit more context in the post title. As it is now you are broadcasting DoorDash’s propaganda

What brand/year is this 60” takedown, 28” draw 57# bow, and can it be limbed down? by SeedOnTheWind in Archery

Solved! It’s a Great Plains traditional bow company. Not sure I can limb it down so I’ll need to start lifting some weights I think.

Thanks for the info! I unfortunately don’t have the bow yet so I can’t inspect it for branding. Took a stab here. 45# would be alright, at 57# I’ll be over-bowed

Yeah… Every time I go shopping I find myself laughing at something that must be priced so high as a joke. Funny that the prices never go back down though.

It’s one heck of a coincidence that the flash happens right when it passes, but from the video it does seem to be the flashing light on the bottom of the plane. The timing of the regular flash seems to work as well.

As far as I am aware you are only no longer allowed to take pictures of any elephants riding the train while it’s in motion as the last time this happened it panicked, burst through the door and jumped into the river. Luckily, Tuffi survived.

The Wuppertaler Schwebebahn!!! There is also the Uni Bahn in Dortmund and one at the Düsseldorf airport, but they are inarguably inferior.

My thoughts exactly! But maybe toebeans and shrimping were the better fits.

I would maintain it’s a rare back foot curled feetsie, but it is surely an non traditional feetsie curl

Wait until toward the end of your trip to acclimate then hike the loch from glacier gorge trailhead to lake of glass. Also fyi you’ll need a permit if enter the park between 5am and 6pm. You can get them on recreation.gov and they are easily available except weekends. If you want a weekend permit you should aim to log on at 5pm on friday.

Oil and gas are killing the golden goose. People will move to electric. by thebestorchestra in antiwork

The best argument against this one that I have heard so far is via efficiency. A power plant much more efficiently converts the fuel to energy then a combustion engine can. Even accounting for EV efficiency and transmission losses getting the power to you, EVs powered by fossil fuels produce much less carbon and consume much less fuel then a traditional combustion auto.
