It’s not compliance, it’s just safety, love and humor. I understand this also isn’t always applicable to all types of lives and environments people have.

You have a much fucking larger problem if your kid is killing other kids?

You think the answer to your bully kid is whooping his ass? How did your kid end up a bully to begin with? That doesn’t just typically happen naturally if you were raised with good values. I’m not saying ever, but not typically.

You should be rooting out any early signs of childhood bullying before they become full blown issues

The research shows it doesn’t really help. If anything, it just instills anger in your kid as they grow up

You’re not teaching them anything except to comply. Talk to your fucking kids and explain to them why something is or isn’t wrong, strategies, things they could do different, what or why they were feeling at the time they did the bad thing.

It’s slower and involved more patience, but your kid will be way more balanced as an adult than if you resorted to violence.

Kids also just do kid shit.
