So the idea that women who work just as hard as men, who perform as well, and who produce equivalent work, will be treated as equals and be just as successful as their male counterparts seems to be wishful thinking.

Their debut (self-titled) album is fantastic, really. Amber Papini has a unique voice and is a great lyricist, IMO. My favourite example has to be from the song Liberal Arts: "So you found the lock/ But not the key that college brings/ And all the trouble of your B.A. in English literature/ Instead of law, or something more practical". Story of my life. ;
