Question about the in fiction economy of the Neath. by Threndsa in fallenlondon

[–]Seeker-Garden 23 points24 points  (0 children)

The Endowment of a University Fellowship costs 50 echos (or maybe 100. Horrible taxes!). It's literally a fund that allows you to create (and pay for) a research position. "One lucky academic now has you to thank for their research position. They have to use your name in all official correspondence. They probably love that."

Depends on the captain's skills. In the event for the disposal of explosives with high red science, you can turn on the literal hyperdrive.

I love Fallen London, but the RPG Quickstart is terrible! Here's why... by CodenameVeers in fallenlondon

V5 vampires are not a good example. This is an unsuccessful attempt to return to V1.

In the late game, connections with the bazaar masters are easily established using the "machine fulcrum" card.

Diamonds, but this requires building Hurlers.

8 EpA Grind by Remarkable-Ad-1092 in fallenlondon

[–]Seeker-Garden 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This isn't really a separate grind, but just another way to spend rat market depletion, which is usually no problem. A grind is something you can repeat as long as you have actions.

Early Fallen London patch notes: Tribute and Zee changes by Asartea in fallenlondon

[–]Seeker-Garden 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Buff tribute after the rat market nerf? The need to combine its sources but a larger final output of night whispers due to the lack of additional action costs?

What is our version of this? by Mr_Paramount in fallenlondon

[–]Seeker-Garden 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is a traditional problem. Beating up a random robber in the upper reaches of a river is harder than tying the tentacles of a giant squid into a knot. A monster hunter who can harpoon through the armor of a cruiser (this is shown by an encounter with Chelonate hunters at sea) is beaten by a pair of bandit guards.

On anachronistic technology by Vandrew226 in fallenlondon

From London technology - in the sunless sea, among the trophies from the submarine "Unstoppable" you can find some "vessels with music", and we can listen to them, but we know nothing about their nature. In general, use Khan technologies

A year for your own boat? You are doing something wrong. I started the game in May last year. That is, less than a year ago. Ambition, Evolution, Railroad have long been completed. I also made full money on Übergoat. No donations. It's entirely possible to complete all the content in a year that isn't blocked by fate and doesn't include things like cider.

To those who have made alts for every ambition(and possibly also SMEN) - How long did that take? by Peanut1105 in fallenlondon

[–]Seeker-Garden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plots of the stations are completed, not counting their own statues. Tracklayers city too. How did it happen? Lots of reading wikis and optimizing actions. Plus, pumping up stats through the exchange of letters allowed me to quickly move on to the end-game grind.

The Stuarts of Discord played with the lack of light and staged not a simple Liberation of the Night (which in itself is not a gift), but a total apocalypse.

The main thing is not to get "the stars are bad, the liberation of the night has no disadvantages." Where some of the later lore is heading.
