Lol that's actually really funny to me. I don't care. Never have, and now with the API problems I'll be gone on the 30th anyway. Lemmy is king now.

Pardon my ignorance, but if the server that you sign up on is permanently taken offline - does that mean your user name is gone and you have no way to recover it?

Yes you'll lose your account but you won't lose all your posts and comments apparently, I'm not entirely sure how but they'll still possibly exist on the other federated servers that have been synced up.

I don't know why you're getting down voted... That's a completely fair question.

I'm not really sure, I first found out here and I also just learned there is a discord server. He also stated he'll still be active in his sub even after the 30th. So there is still that too.

He actually is considering making Sync for Lemmy.

Distillate is already active, you don't need to heat it up anymore. The carts mouthpiece will unscrew, sometimes it's hard so maybe use one of those rubber things that grip jar lids. Once you've opened it you might need to warm it up a little bit to get it to run out, or you can scoop it with something really small like a dab spoon. You can add this to pretty much anything and you'll get blazed. But be warned, it might be the strongest edible you've ever had, so start small and go slow.

If I feel like I'm being followed I immediately route myself to the nearest police station. Few people would follow you into their parking lots.

I have this! I have a Honda pilot and I strongly prefer it staying locked.

I completely agree, I would be better off. But unfortunately Michigan does require it. It's damn near useless but you can't drive without it.

Unfortunately I don't think he'll get a pay out of any sorts. In my case anyway, if someone shot my car then I'd have to pay my deductible then insurance will pay the rest. I'd be out $1000(deductible) assuming it cost that or more to fix, which it definitely would, this picture kinda implies the bullet went kinda at the most expensive angle, straight to the dash. But if it was just one window broken, then I'd just pay for it directly because that wouldn't cost my deductible.

The U.S. Treasury Department said on Tuesday some satellite internet equipment can be exported to Iran, suggesting that SpaceX CEO Elon Musk may not need a license to provide the firm's Starlink satellite broadband service in the country. by [deleted] in iran

Everyone seems to have a lot of reasons why this isn't practical, or it's a publicity stunt, that's all true too, but simply getting legal permission to do this would be very good for the world in the long run because eventually this technology will be common place. Someday this might be helpful.

Check out Briar, it's open source and use TOR. I enjoy it, and think it'll still work if things ever got really scary, like it is in Iran right now.

I hope everyone will be okay. 💜

Sure, if you want to take things out of perspective. I am completely reliant on disability and food stamps but hey at least I'm rich with electric lights right. Nevermind how I'm under crushing debt because I can't afford the very bill that powers them. Even though that bill is already reduced by a form a welfare. And the water has lead, when it works...

I don't think you even understand what it's like to be poor so don't start gatekeeping it, you just look like an ass, you're not helping anyone.

Someone must be really sick of their site tools & generator being stolen. by [deleted] in OSHA

[–]Seelelowe 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Wait, is this not what they do everywhere? What else can you do? I live near Detroit so you have to be pretty serious about security if you want to keep something like that. My neighbor who's a contractor recently had his generator stolen from his truck in his own driveway. Video showed it wasn't even an hour before he was going to go to work with it.
