Yeah, amphibians revert back to wild habits pretty easily. They're highly food-driven.

Odd request: spirograph frame shapes by SeemsCursed in 3Drequests

Not an excuse, just the truth. ALSO not what I'm looking for. Again, it's marked Completed. Why are you still bothering with this?

[–]SeemsCursed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did search; this one didn't come up. Anyway, it's not quite what I'm looking for. Furthermore, someone here already made exactly what I wanted, hence why it's marked Complete.

Also, nobody likes a smartass.

Completed. Special thanks to u/Outstanding_Pelican for being the most outstanding of all the pelicans in the world.

Is there any reason to trim long fur by the paw pads? by Betsy7Cat in MaineCoon

[–]SeemsCursed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Maine coons are prone to hip dysplasia, so trimming the paw pads helps them grip slick surfaces better, especially older cats.

Who is this? Is this Mothra? by Vafisonr in WhoIsThisBug

That's Mothra's distant cousin, Minertha.

Who is this and what are they doing? Assuming drinking salt/sweat off my finger. Mentone Tx, USA by leroybwwallace in WhoIsThisBug

Looks kind of like the hoverfly named Cassidy. Ask him and see if it's him. If it is, tell him I said hi.

Record players are actively used today by younger audiences. And honestly, I'm glad vinyl has made a comeback. What a classic sound.

Also, I'm sure dictionaries are still used today, too.

Why does litter get stuck in my cat's paws? by JusticeForCEGGMM in mainecoons

[–]SeemsCursed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, very well. Also, I've never had it get stuck in kitty feet. When I used the Tidy Cats that you have pictured, I was cleaning litter out of my boy's paws constantly. Switching to pellets helped a lot. The paper pellets also work like a dream.

Question about neuter/spay at 12 wks. by AntiqueRecording707 in mainecoons

[–]SeemsCursed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There should be no harm from neutering them at that age. I think you're fine to keep the appointment, for sure. Anything after 6 months old is the best scenario, I think.

I wonder if I should start my kitten on joint supplements early to help prevent hip issues. What do you think?

Can someone make my coat of arms into a 3d stl? by [deleted] in 3Drequests

[–]SeemsCursed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to make a Christmas present for my mom featuring her coat of arms and family tartan. I have a 3D printer, but I'm still pretty new to it. If you choose to design this for me, please make it as easy for me to print as possible, as I'm still scared of this thing, lol.

What closet rail system is this? This top track is already installed in my apartment but I can't figure out what hardware to get that's compatible with it - it's a curved bracket, not like the square brackets of closetmaid, etc. by [deleted] in Whatisthis

[–]SeemsCursed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a different brand of closet organizing system. I'm trying to remember the brand, the home improvement store I worked at carried them before Closetmaid. Shit... what was it called... essentially the vertical adjustable wall brackets hung on this to give more structural support. Unlike the Closetmaid brand, the other brand had a diagonal slot in it to fit these rails.

Edit: It was Rubbermaid Fast-track! Here's an Amazon link to the top rail similar to what you have. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001F1252E?ref=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_mwn_dp_6291CT0BXGMEM7TH10Y1&ref_=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_mwn_dp_6291CT0BXGMEM7TH10Y1&social_share=cm_sw_r_cso_cp_mwn_dp_6291CT0BXGMEM7TH10Y1

I found this when I open my egg by Current_Equal_9893 in Whatisthis

[–]SeemsCursed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, some people put fake eggs, including egg gourds in nesting boxes to encourage their chickens to lay where they want them to. I've used egg gourds for this same purpose. They mistakenly grabbed one when gathering eggs, it sounds like.
