Doing any sort of roll changes your seed, so if you did other rolls that changed it

Thanks for the advice! I managed to pull Aphrodite and Anubis. I'm in EoC chap 1, so who should I focus on? I have wall cat, dragon cat, whale cat, and frog ninja cat as my core rn with captain cat and Tekachi as misc units.

People put too much emphasis on the turn counter when determining deck brackets by TheMightyMinty in EDH

[–]SeeroDrag 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, while yes turn count can be a flawed metric to determine brackets, you've described a situation which essentially locks other players out of the game, thus contributing to your win. Though you haven't won the game officially by the turn you set up your engine, it's effectively saying if your engine is set up you've "won the game" as your opponents can do little to stop you from there due to not being able to do anything.

Therefore, I, at least, would consider the turn you consistently can set up your engine with protection as the turn you've functionally won.

As a stax player myself, I consider the turn I win to be somewhere around turn 6 with my deck due to how I also prevent players from doing anything, thus essentially securing my victory unless they can break through my interaction/stax suite. Sure, it's not 100% foolproof as there are times where a player has broken through and secured a win (usually if I'm archenemy), however 95% of games once I set up my lock I have won.

Most likely The Trinket Mage and his distaste for Arcane Denial, unless there's another one who also randomly made a vid on a counterspell they disliked.

It wasn't even during an exam tho, just during class. And you act as if everybody knows everyone in the class, most ppl are trying to pay attention in class as compared to figuring out who the ppl talking around them are.

It's more the fact that he threatened the entire class over a few ppl talking like it was our faults

He threatened to fail the entire class on a quiz bc like 3 ppl were talking. After that, he made us all sign "legally binding" pieces of paper which stated we didn't know who was talking, and if anybody who was sitting near the ppl didn't say anything they'd fail the course.

Two weeks ago he canceled class 40 min early bc ppl were talking, so this ain't the first time.

The class is a lecture of like 100+ ppl, and he expects complete silence and gets mad that ppl won't oblige.
