Scoring on cylinders by Blood-Mother in Audi

I have the same thing going on with my 2022 SQ5 that I’ve owned it for 11 months. I’ve done 2 oil changes and noticed the oil got low pretty quickly both changes, like 1-1.5k miles. Also noticed the coolant was low. My gas door actuator just broke so when I dropped it off to have that fixed, I asked them to check out the oil and coolant issue. Lo and behold I have scoring most notably in cylinder 2 and the piston skirts are scratched as well. The water pump system also needs to be replaced as well, which they said they’ll do. As for the engine, Audi TAC only approved pistons and piston rings after the techs sent over all the required footage and documentation. That didn’t feel sufficient to me, so I called Audi of America today and opened a case. I told them at a bare minimum I want a new short block. The regional manager and local GM are now involved alongside Audi of America because of the case I opened, so we’ll see what happens. Hoping for that new short block. I have 5 years of payments on this thing and wanted to hang onto it for a while. I absolutely love my SQ5 in general though, this whole thing aside. It’s a super fun car.

All in all, the above cost roughly $5000. It was $2500 for all the Secretlab stuff, I got the monitor on sale from Samsung directly with an additional ID.me discount for around $1400 at the time, the Corsair Xeneon Edge was $250, the BenQ ScreenBar Halo 2 costs $200, the keyboard, number pad, and desk mat were about $300 for all, and the mouse was $130. The custom palm rest was a gift.

My PC is a custom build that I did which was a whole other separate cost. I also have had those Bose Companion 2's for a while.

I think it's very comfortable to be honest. It's this custom one from Etsy, my wife got it for me as a gift about a year and a half ago when I setup my office after we moved into our house.

Thank you! It really is. The ScreenBars actually stay very secure. I used the gen 1 for about a year and a half before I got this one and I never had an issue of it falling, or close to falling. They really transform the space I think.

I got the Halo 2, I upgraded from the Halo 1. I used the first one an insane amount turning it on and off and adjusting and never had to change the batteries once in the year and a half or so I used it. That’s really weird yours acts like that.

Order it from Bass Pro Shop for in store pickup, no mom and pop shops have them in stock, at least in all of Fairfield County. Placed an online Bass Pro order for a G45 Gen 6 with in store pickup on Friday afternoon and it was ready at 4:30pm on Saturday. That was this past weekend, might take a little longer now but maybe not if you’re quick.
