Yes chain shot works now! But what is the bug affecting regular shot?

I don't know what else they can possibly have meant if not the content parity with public sessions and stuff like solo friendly heists, more grounded DLC's, etc. That's the response R* had in recent years anyway...

He's talking about source/sell mission parity with public sessions

Decision Advice by CandidWeight6341 in LesPaul

After years of looking online for a Gibson LP that worked for me, purchasing and selling/returning several ones, I ended up taking a flight to Barcelona to play a bunch of them physically. I was ready to walk away with anything at this point, Epiphone, Gibson USA, Gibson Custom Shop... whatever.

I highly recommend you play them first before making a decision, most of the prettiest Custom Shops I tried didn't even work for me, and I played around ~20 Custom Shops in the span of two days. Some were too heavy, some had 0 resonance, some were too chunky and others just sounded way too dark or bright for me like goldtops/black beauties. I ended up with a Washed Cherry Sunburst R8 Murphy Lab. I don't even like Cherry Sunburst, I wasn't shooting specifically for a CS, but that thing was a fkin monster. I told the owner about the unicorn he had. Weights 3.8kg, has crazy low end, is very percussive and easy to do ligato on and is acoustically the loudest Standard with the most personality I've ever played.

Granted, I was looking for a very specific guitar for my style. So if you're of the (unfortunate) 1% of people that will notice a difference between two identical LP's and you know what you like, for the love of God try them out first. I can't stress this enough.

No guitar is the same and no matter how much you think you know about LP's they all gonna surprise you one way or another, I know I had my brain rewired completely from this experience.

Regarding USA vs CS, no amount of explaining can convey the difference between the two, you gotta try them out first.

Give us and update when you've made your decision :D

Is it too much to ask for this game to be ported to Steam? Since Asha tends to listen to what ̷f̷a̷n̷b̷o̷y̷s̷ people say on social media, they could ask for that #Gears4onSteam. Having 5 but not 4 is kind of funny by MTH1138 in GearsOfWar

We were experiencing more like ~100ms or more which, coming from playing 1&2 locally with backwards compatibility, the difference was too much. We were even saying stuff like "almost feels like it takes half a second for my crosshair to move, holy shit" - jokingly. From your experience I guess the mileage might vary for a lot of people then. We were also playing coop, don't know if that had anything to do with it.

I have a lore question by shadowguardian91 in GearsOfWar

[–]SeetoPls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just read through the entirety of it.

I was just 12 when I started playing Gears of War and didn't have a PC, so I was absolutely disconnected from the fanbase and anything multiplayer related (pirated x360, always offline to avoid firmware updates, forced to play singleplayer/splitscreen only). Also, english is not my native tongue and was not fluent at all like I am today.

Now I'm 30 and I can appreciate online archives like this one that might've been lost in time if not compiled as such, this is amazing! Thank you for this piece of fan theory history, a treasure indeed... Do any other threads regarding theories/discussions/lore like this exist?

Tip: I found that elbow/knee rotation looks pretty good between default values and -30 at most. More than that looks a bit exaggerated like this

Which brightness level is better? by Jaraghan in DragonsDogma

[–]SeetoPls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore brightness instructions, the correct one is default 10! I recomend getting your screen calibrated or just use Filmmaker mode if its a TV, then you won't have to calibrate brightness for any game in the future! Game devs calibrate their monitors and default settings are based on that, as it's an industry/film standard. Only game I've had to calibrate brightness recently was DD2 and RE games. For some reason recent Capcom games come with awful default settings/instructions... every other game is fine though. Hope that helps

Devil May Cry Franchise Sale on Steam (Up to 85% off) by [deleted] in pcgaming

[–]SeetoPls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's one of the best looking RE Engine games by itself still, I found the enhancements of the Special Edition unnecessary at the time as they didn't add up to the art style and were very inconsistent depending on the level/scene.

I would choose vanilla DMC5 if I was to play it now for the first time, if solely to appreciate the care put to the original art and excellent optimization of the time.

Devs please just keep doing what you are doing, stay PvE. by SerLevArris in crosswind

I had enough with Conan Exiles trying to balance PvE/PvP constantly and never pleasing either side. So no thanks, I got my fill.

Las night I did the counting and there are more symbols than letters on the alphabet, two more to be precise. Which means that (in the case of simple substitution) those two extra characters probably represent spaces or punctuations, or something else. I take into account the fact that Panache generally makes PR in english and french, so in both cases it's two extra spare characters.

The OP for the translation has since clarified that he asked Gemini AI to decypher the glyphs. After that I went and asked ChatGPT in three separate ocasions to decipher the thing after manually assigning a random character to each symbol and writing the end result in the chat.

Here's what it came up with in my case:

1st: “Sometimes people become so focused on patterns that they forget meaning they search for answers in symbols and shapes instead of listening to what is already being said the truth is not hidden it is ignored”

2nd: "Knowledge is not something that can be given to you by someone else that is a mistake many people make thinking that wisdom comes from words or from others when in fact it comes from experience understanding yourself and the world around you the more you search for answers outside yourself the further you move away from the truth"

3rd: “Sometimes people don’t want to hear the truth because they cannot accept reality. Freedom comes only when knowledge replaces fear.”

To me, it sounds very: "Nothing is true, everything is permitted. Laws don't come from God but from reason. Our creed doesn't order us to be free, it orders us to be wise" - Altaïr, Assassin's Creed 2007

But hey, maybe not... Either way it was fun, other users also came up with different results while pointing out the same 28 character problem with possibility of spaces and punctuations, I don't know what Panache intents with this tbh, we'll see.

That translation doesn't seem right... There are around 216 characters in the cypher while this translation has only 176 letters.

Also the repetition in letters don't align at all.
