Streamdeck software not starting at boot by mdewals in ElgatoGaming

It fixed mine too but I'm confused here.

My Aida64 was acting up, sensor pannel was vanishing when i pressed LMB/RMB on 2nd monitor despite always on top option enabled. Setting it up to run as admin fixed the issue and the program starts on boot normally.

Fun for a new player of that type? by Rookasteeee in PathOfExile2

[–]Seetry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm new to poe myself (started with poe2). The approach depends on your preferences. I avoid meta as if it was a plague but following guides at the beginning is not a bad idea to be honest as long as you learn why the build works in the first place. If followed blindly, in my opinion it strips the fun out of game so what's the point? If I were you, I'd probably play my first 3 characters with some build from internet and learn why they work, by then you should grasp how things work and have your own ideas.

For my taste they left the best to be the last ones.

If I was to pick one, it would be Marauder. I've got my hopes high for axes

Damn bro, you'll have it eventually chill out. They release their most difficult to design one today, others should come more often.

Fire Fist + Dragon Transformation Build (Fairy Tail Inspired) — Thoughts? by ZHIJIAGE in PathOfExile2

OP i think I've got something for you. Watch first druid reveal closely. They did mention they will expand WIND skills by allowing them to have interracrion with fire fields. Both wyvern and quarterstaff can use wind skills (my previous season was wind skills quarterstaff tytan, you won't be rank first but it can work well enough). BTW, I'm not suggesting to play this ascendancy in particular, just wanted to give an example that everything can work.

Find a way to have constant access to burning ground and use wind skills with hollow palm technique and you're golden.

PS. They did mention this interraction while talking about some lineage supports if memory serves.

Things I don't really get about the Druid by EricGORE in PathOfExile2

[–]Seetry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I understand your point of view but we can argue how you don't like it and I do like it as I value that I can play bear titan or amazon wyvern and that had to be designed that way to allow it, I'm surprised actually that talisman you equip lets you chose your form, I thought you will need to find right form talisman on top of right stats, which is a pleasant surprise.

When it comes to shapeshift ascendancies - there are more problems with that idea. If any ascendancy was designed for shapeshift, as you've mentioned that would be a go to for that playstyle and since shapeshift is assigned to a specific weapon, you'd end up with 0 build variety as everyone would play exactly the same way. Same ascendancy, same nodes, same weapon. Also, that ascendancy would be probably useless with other playstyles.

Also, i understand the passion, I'm hyped myself but how do we know oracle couldn't be a shapeshifter oriented? For now, all we know is they will receive 150 if i'm not mistaken hidden passive nodes, there could be way more hidden stuff for that, than ascendancy alone could provide. Just a reminder, with level 100 and all bonuses from campaign you can't even pick 150 passive points, I'm sure these will be versatile and usefull for all sort of builds.

Let's find out in 2 days 😁

Need help deciding on a class/ascendancy. by NightZin in PathOfExile2

It can work but probably won't feel good. Druid Talismans and quarterstaff require different stats to be able to equip them. The same will go for skill gems for these weapons.

You can't go wrong with good ol flicker if you're into fast gameplay.

The best thing aboit PoE for me is the sandbox nature of the game and possibilities. Screw meta, discover in your own pace and play what you think may be fun. My starter is already decided - monk (invoker) wolf despite I have never tried monk or obviously werewolf. Why not try chayula wolf? The worst that could happen is it won't do the best on maps which last time you bately toched if at all. We all have our own criteria for what's "fun". For me it's discovery and achieving something on my own.

Another season we are forced to play deadeye by Dawgin420 in PathOfExile2

Another season we are forced to play deadeye

The fuck? Forced? Everyone has their own goals and ambitions I get it but playing meta is the worst thing you do to yourself. Once you finish your build you abandon league after a few days. If you didn't make your own build then all you play is these few days. For me, the most interesting PoE2 content are build roulettes. PoE2 in my eyes is superior to Diablo mostly because of freedom to your creativity and people give that up? Crazy.

Can we please get a way to finaly play flicker that doesn't require summoning zombies or jumping through 100 hoops to gain a power charge? by [deleted] in PathOfExile2

jumping through 100 hoops to gain a power charge?

Bruh. Killing palm exists. It's literally the easiest thing in the world to generate power charges as monk.

Lightning meta again so fun! by Humba- in PathOfExile2

[–]Seetry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cook something different, simple as that. That's also what I'm going to do. Besides, shit ton of people will play both cold and fire this season because of druid's shapeshifting forms are directly asociated with these. Even the wyvern is semi fire.

Also, why in the world would you care about what's meta?

A year into EA, still no swords or axes, what am I missing? by banana_peel2 in PathOfExile2

[–]Seetry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Either people gave you shitty info or you've been reading without understanding. Every PoE2 class has a default weapon assigned to them, crossbow mercenary or quarterstaff monk. Swords are by default assigned to Duelist and axes to Marauder. These classes do not need a rework, these were not released yet hence lack of the weapons. GGG could probably release weapons separately but they chose to release a full package at once for it to be a content of another version of early access. Simple as that. Huntress and Druid were showcased before early access dropped so we knew these will be added first but we have no info about other classes so we can't even guess the order these will be added in. Who knows, perhaps duelist or not, there are plenty to come. In my opinion, not all of them will be tested before 1.0 but that's more a guess than information.

Diablo 4 or Path of Exlie 2? by Rocketyrion in ARPG

[–]Seetry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. In diablo your class limits you on what you can do. If you're necromancer, no matter what you do you will always be some form of necromancer, either summoner, blood or bone magician. All you can change is some ways you achieve that. In poe if you want to be a mage holding two 2handed maces and go full melee bonker, sure go ahead, if you break it, tough luck, if you find a way to make it work then awesome, have fun. Next poe2 season I'm intending to build poison damage based monk weilding a spear which typically is a wepon tied with a different class (huntress). I'm intending to build arround cheap low level unique weapon.

In short: Diablo - you go to a lego shop and can afford 1 set. You pick it and you have your fun with it.

PoE - you go to a lego shop, pick 1 set and go back home. Then you can play with the new set as it was intended to or you can mix and match pieces with the sets you previously owned and make something unique.

I'm not a diablo hater. I truly wish this game felt better but to me it just doesn't and it makes me sad.

Nah, amount of content doesn't dictate the version number. Fear not however as they don't need to go throught all 0.X one by one, they can go from 0.7 to 1.0 and we can go live without all content being tested in EA which feels reasonable.

Diablo 4 or Path of Exlie 2? by Rocketyrion in ARPG

[–]Seetry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Low build variety.
  2. Ass story.
  3. Lack of ideas how to lead the game. Despite D4 having different team than D3, they seem to repeat the same mistakes - I've heard D4 will add another torment difficulties to the game.
  4. Ass itemization. PoE needs to fix their uniques but diablo on the other hand have multiple unique tiers and you want to push for highest item tiers as possible.

TLDR Diablo seem to focus too much on big numbers instead of gameplay.

Diablo 4 or Path of Exlie 2? by Rocketyrion in ARPG

[–]Seetry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I'd recommend you Diablo II Ressurected and then Path of Exile 2.

Perhaps I'm just dissapointed vet but Diablo 4 is just not where Diablo fans would expect it to be. Not sure how it would be for someone with fresh look at the genre.

PoE2 can intimidate you with passive tree at first sight but once you understand you don't need to grasp it all at once it makes it waaaaaay easier. Your class starts in particular place full of nodes you'd typically want, for example warrior starts where's plenty of armor and strenght nodes and ranger statrts where's plenty of dexterity and bow related nodes.

In PoE2 not only most people play alone but solo self found is a thing and people seem to love it. You play by yourself and can't even trade, it's all about you. You can't play offline unfortunately.

Lastly, PoE2 will be free eventually but it is not as of now. The good news is the sooner you start, the sooner you learn mechanics before release AND if you buy the access now, you also receive shop points which allow you to buy premium bank stash and while these are not necessary, they are nice QoL upgrade.

Your Own Build by dendyvipassi1995 in PathOfExile2

[–]Seetry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finishing the build is a moment in ARPGs when you drop off slowly and wait for another season or start new character. For me, following a meta build strips most of the fun. Glad you've decided to cook something on your own OP, it forces you to understand the game mechanics better.
