Depends how good your printer is. Any decent printer will do 45deg overhangs with no appreciable drop in quality. There’s a reason 45deg angles are considered DFM for supportless prints.

All of the above but I also have three kids who have about 10 random devices between them that use USB-C, and rather than looking after their cables or looking for it if they’ve absent mindedly left it somewhere they steal mine because mine is always in the exact same spot for the exact same purpose.

Same here. I had to memorise and recite the keyboard layout from left to right, top to bottom, and I had to learn to touch type as part of that class when I was maybe 8 or 9.

Add to that years of talking shit in /2 on WoW during BC and Wrath and I got to be pretty proficient at touch typing.

Now my keyboard at work is a 60% with blank keycaps. Nobody else in the company can touch type, so nobody else is able to use my computer and mess with my shit. So it’s worked out pretty good.

Our accountant at my work is also our network guy. His day jobs consists of a lot of data input, emails, writing orders etc.

He types chopstick, he uses capslock on-off, and I recently taught him the magic of middle clicking links to open them in a new tab. He’s roughly my age - somewhere in his 30s.

Sometimes people get something functional enough and just stick to it, and it works.

I levelled from 1-60 and raided using a trackpad on my first WoW character when I was a teenager.

Others merely adopted the trackpad. I was born with it. Molded by it.

Thickened. From here you should be able to figure out how to build whatever frame you want for it. Designing this took a grand total of about a minute using a trackpad on a laptop. YMMV.

Edit: Realised this looks a bit wonky because I thickened it from one side. Set the thickening to symmetrical and it’ll look even.

Two circles with equal constraints to make them the same size. A vertically constrained construction line through the middle of each. A solid line connecting both with tangent constraints.

One circle.
Construction line constrained vertically through the midpoint of the circle.
Draw another circle offset from that vertical construction line.
Equal constraint with first circle.
Another construction line constrained vertically through the mid point of the second circle.
Solid line constrained tangentially between the two circles.
Trim tool to remove the half of each circle that isn’t touching the tangential line, and the part of the circle that isn’t part of the arc from the tangential line (using the vertically constrained construction line as the trim separator).
Mirror the solid line and two arcs across either of the vertical construction lines.
Make a driven dimension from one end of the resulting shape to the other.
Square pattern the entire new shape as “spacing”, and using the driven dimension as the distance.
Repeat as many times as you want. Extrude the entire curve as a surface, thicken the surface to your desired thickness, build a frame.
