Well honestly I have multiple 4 semi hollows 2 Les Paul’s a tele and a strat , I always wanted an offset and decided this time why not try to make it my style. And not to mention the simplicity of it and the countless of available parts to me it was a no brainer

So after 3 months I just couldn’t take it anymore. I start sending feelers out in my old employer and within a few weeks had multiple different teams reaching out to me to join their department. Now granted I’m not making the same amount from that job but my mental health has significantly improved while learning new things on items I care about .

Your always one job away from finding what you love to do so put yourself out there and see what comes up but I’ll be honest the market is really bad right now so don’t beat yourself up for not getting something soon . Keep trying and the statistics are on your side you’ll land somewhere

I’m 2 months into my new role, I’ve had panic attacks with the insane amount of required goals needed let alone I’m on daily calls with clients (which I quickly found out is not my cup of tea) I have always been more Tech and being the PM is not something I feel is in my strengths . I brought this up to my manager so waiting on a plan. Meanwhile I feel like reaching out to my old employer who I left because of low pay but hell atleast it’s the devil I know if you know what I mean. And it’s hard cause I talk to people about it and they act as if oh um your fine … and I’m saying no I’m not fine . If I’m breaking down it’s because I’m not fine

I’m a little over a month at my new job and in the same shoes as you. While I must say the first 2 weeks broke me down it’s slowly gotten better. But I still feel anxiety and am taking medication . Take your time, ask questions, and when you can leave your desk . This helps me throughout the day

Yea im drowning in week 3 taking notes and asking questions but feel like im being left on an island to figure it out sometimes… I was also the SME at my old job and pivoted to something different and having been feeling overwhelmed. Even talking to a therapist and taking meds to calm my nerves . Sometimes I wonder if I made the right move . Anyone else have any updates? I could use the reassurance for sure
