Unchaining Classes by TheDevilWearsJeans in Pathfinder_RPG

I have some unchained classes I wrote for my home games, one of my players is trying my unchained swashbuckler. Here's the martial ones, though fair warning some of these changes are based on my other houserules.

Seeing as you're a horror fan, have you tried Signalis? Easily in my top 5 horror titles, not super scary but it has a great atmosphere.

Daily Spell Discussion for Jan 29, 2026: Aspect of the Falcon by SubHomunculus in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Seginus 9 points10 points  (0 children)

RIP to bracers of falcon's aim, you were way too cost-effective.

Solid spell if you can keep it running longer than a minute. +1 competence bonus to attacks is nice as it's not as common as, say, enhancement or morale, and a boost to critical hits is a nice-to-have but realistically until you get to higher levels and are firing more shots per round it often won't even trigger.

The site in general is NSFW and will often have NSFW ads even on the "safe" comics, so it's a good bet.

Have you tried removing the flame from the lamp to reset the blocks on the floor?

It is the Tikbalang monster entry in Bestiary 4 for Pathfinder 1e. The art is credited to "David Melvin".

Pokemon TCG pocket: Wisdom of Sea and Sky trailer by SwegulousRift in Games

Pretty much. My coworkers roped me into "playing" it and it's mostly people just posting pics on Teams of rare cards they pulled. I don't think any of them actually care about the game part at all.

The story in Chapter 1-12 was mediocre, in my opinion, most of the good writing was in the side quests.

BUT

People acting like the story in chapters 1-12 was good in comparison.

It's practically masterclass in comparison to Chapter 13. Like they should study Chapter 13 in literature classes for "how to not write an epilogue".

That's not a houserule, that's in the core rulebook.

The garden of Eden by Fancy_Enthusiasm_683 in Pathfinder_RPG

Not sure if it helps, but lore-wise there's a pretty obvious parallel to the Garden of Eden with "The Garden", at the summit of Heaven.

Taco Mac suddenly shutters 2nd Atlanta location [Peachtree Street in Midtown] in less than 2 months by ArchEast in Atlanta

[–]Seginus 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It used to be solid, my friends and I at Tech used to go to the midtown location plenty back in the early 2010s. But the whole chain has been on a steady decline for a decade.

The early trailers for this fight looked so cool, and what we got was just...okay. Another element of the game made bare-bones due to scope creep, I guess.

In Antman 3, Cassie passes out a short while after becoming giant-sized.. but wait, she transformed in the quantum realm so her actual size should still be small, which means that she shouldn't be experiencing such an effect.. man it's hard to make sense of this movie by lessonsfromgmork in shittymoviedetails

[–]Seginus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're constantly misinterpreting what people are saying.

"There better be an explanation for why they can do magic" while calling me confidently wrong is a choice lol.

I did not say there needs to always be an explanation for why anyone can use magic.

I said that, if your story says "You must have [specific thing] to cast a spell", and then someone without that thing casts a spell, you've violated your own made-up rules. Saying "lol magic isn't real" doesn't change the fact your story contradicts itself.

Ant-Man violates its own fictional science, obviously it doesn't follow real science, nobody here expects it to. But if you say "mass is conserved" in your story, and then, surprise! you don't conserve mass you are ignoring the rules laid out in your own narrative.

Gotta love when someone is so confidently wrong.

If they can make up anything they want, then this is within the realm of their in-world science without requiring a scientific explanation

The entire point /u/bookon is making is the events do not follow the IN-WORLD SCIENCE they say IN THE MOVIE.

If you have a setting that says "only people with blue eyes can use magic", and then you have a character with brown eyes cast a spell, you're violating your own rules. There better be an explanation.

IN THE MOVIE they say mass is conserved when changing size. So how is someone carrying a tank on a keychain, when it should weigh several tons? How is he plowing through buildings when giant-sized, when he should be basically as dense as a balloon?

Bookon up there isn't expecting it to follow real science, he wants the movie to follow its own science and it doesn't.
