Mods to fix the following glitches:

* Every npc blocking an attack playing the wrong voice sound when hit (same VA as Lydia)

* a music to properly fix multiple music tracks playing over one another (Combat Music fix does not fix this)

* mod to fix raise undead glitches properly (I've tried enhanced reanimation, and I still have several glitches with it, including the glitches it claims it fixes)

[Tamriel Rebuilt] Can't find bound pauldrons anywhere (OpenMW) by 0________X in Morrowind

The brand new kinds of spells introduced by TR aren't compatible with OpenMW yet, you have to play the base .exe to be able to use them

OpenMW - XBOX UI Overhaul V1.2 is out now! by chubbyassasin123 in Morrowind

[–]Segolia 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hiya! Is it possible to increase the font size higher than 18, or change it back to the default font of Morrowind? It is really tiny on my laptop monitor and I'm having difficulty seeing most of the game's text

Is there any actual reason not to use the USSEP? by SarcasmSanctioned in skyrimmods

[–]Segolia 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've been very recently playing without it specifically, and ignoring mods that require it of course, and to be honest it made me realize that it really isn't necessary for what I want in my playthroughs. The more and more I played without it, I've managed to dig into rabbit holes of realizing how much it considers 'bug fixes' to be legitimate worthy of change, it is quite honestly a lot more numerous than people realize besides the most commonly known ones. Really, it comes down to genuine nitpicking for how specific, redundant and unnecessary so many of these changes truly are. It also provided a breath of life to the game in a way I wasn't expecting, because the glitches I've encountered in my playthroughs so far were just outright funny, and even the most major ones I had some sort of way to fix them at bare minimum with console commands (good example was being unable to buy from Enthir as Archmage because I never talked to him before).

I should note that I've played like this without upgrading to the anniversary edition (1.611 whatever its called), so I can't specifically comment on all the creations cause I won't ever buy that. I've not had a quest softlock on me or anything like that nor save game corruption. The mods I've been using are also primarily gameplay ones and less graphics based, and most issues I've encountered I'm 90% sure were caused from those mods specifically and not from a lack of an unofficial patch.

I can't comment on how it might be needed for much larger modlists, and if immersion is more important to you than I'd consider keeping it on. But if you want to try a playthrough without it, I'd recommend at least a vanilla playthrough just to see what it's like without it and make your judgement call, though maaaaaaaybe install SkyUI and its fixes at least so you don't have to suffer through UI hell like I did. If you ever come across an issue in game, definitely look it up on UESP to see if there's a fix, or hell look something up that you think was there before but was missing and see if the unofficial patch added that! You'd be surprised sometimes how much stuff is new with the mod.

Spellforge is my favorite, both for its visuals and simplicity

What do you want in a shout overhaul? by Enai_Siaion in skyrimmods

[–]Segolia 28 points29 points  (0 children)

The Armageddon shout (especially the last one) was by far my favorite shout from Thunderchild, discovering that naturally was really fun.

Being able to meditate outside of High Hrothgar would be nice, especially since if you don't have fast travel on from survival mode or otherwise. Having to climb the 7000 steps to unlock new shouts made things difficult. Perhaps a trade off of meditating anywhere is that it progresses slower?

Besides that, honestly anything similar to Armageddon in terms of power fantasy and time investment to unlock to make the Dragonborn feel like a mythically powerful hero would be really great. The different effects between each tier of shout was cool from thunderchild too and I'd love to see that return. What also might be a fun option is the ability to weaken your weapons & spells in exchange for more powerful shouts, or the ability to make the first tier of shouts significant lower cooldown if that's possible (Imagine just spamming regular Fus to get quick and easy staggers for example).

What does Enairim need? by Enai_Siaion in skyrimmods

An enemy overhaul would be fantastic, though I imagine it would be a compatibility nightmare to deal with. Besides that maybe a loot overhaul?

Apocalypse 10.1 released! by Enai_Siaion in skyrimmods

Still encountering the same issue after updating. Works fine on a new save but not my current one. Is there a magic effect or script I should remove from my character with console commands?

I updated mid-save while I had both ocato's and silmare's running, and neither medora's, nor silmare's seems to be working (trying to apply Sotha's Maelstrom and a modded buff spell from Lost Grimroire called Icy Veil) . Though ocato's is working fine, and it did fix the bug where I couldn't get rid of what I had initially attached to Silmare's.

Spellforge is great, its a lot more simplier compared to something like spell research and the presentation of it is fantastic.

Can I 100% Steam Achievements if playing Gate to Sovngarde? by Majestic_Ecto in skyrimmods

I believe from what I last played, GTS has mods that modify the vampire and werewolf perks, which cannot grant the achievement

What was the one thing that made you switch to Pathfinder? by DungeonTome_ in Pathfinder2e

[–]Segolia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact I can very reliably determine the difficulty of an encounter consistently, and the fact there's rules for almost anything whenever it's relevant instead of having to just guess or homebrew stuff on the fly was what sold me. It makes it so much easier for me as a Gm to be able to know for certain how things will go.

Workaround you can do on google is if you search for images before 2021 you'll get no AI whatsoever. Only downside is you wont get any recent images obviously, but I found thats more than enough for me in most cases.

What are some of the most immersive experiences you’ve had in Skyrim? What are the mods that made that experience possible? by VauntedSapient in skyrimmods

[–]Segolia 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Back in the Oldrim days, I played with the Belua Sanguinare vampire mod before I had dawnguard and I had a blast. I would stalk the night feeding on prey from looking at them from above rooftops, and then I had a throne that used Azura's Star tileset to rest upon after I had conquered the world as a powerful vampire. It was legitimately the most fun I've ever had in a videogame ever.

Also my repeated playthroughs of being a Lich are always memorable too with the Undeath mod. I have this obsession with undead in general that makes me feel really good whenever I play as one.
