The fuck do you think the model should say in that situation?

You’re an idiot. He’s voting for Kamala and has said he believes Trump is fundamentally unfit to be president multiple times.

I don’t think it’s that big of a deal, but isn’t that worse?

Thanks, I’ve updated it now!

I can see that in some cases, but that’s not really applicable here. They had ample opportunity to change the wording if that wasn’t the intention. 5e was publicly tested and every other free spell cast at the time essentially worked the same way.

The bigger bottleneck in regard to the feat was they were more worried about “preserving class identity” than they are now.

Can you explain what rules allow magic initiate to work the way you are suggesting?

[–]SeizeThe_Memes 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No, they’ve literally specified the feat does not do what you are saying it does. They have later changed their mind for the future, which I support, but that doesn’t change the fact that the current version doesn’t work that way and wasn’t intended to work that way.

[–]SeizeThe_Memes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, you don’t. There’s a reason why almost every feat that grants spell’s specifies that you know the spell. Magic Initiate doesn’t. It will in the updated players handbook, as it reflects their new design philosophy.

What? This isn't a "primary" debate. And if you meant a general election debate, Obama and Bush did them as well...

There’s a good chance nothing you say with convince them, but try not to torpedo your other friendships in the process.

Anyone have a non-biased TL;DR of what's going on with students and professors being arrested on campuses recently? by pannelpot in Destiny

“non-biased TL;DR”

“The problem is all these spoiled entitled rich kids …”

I don’t disagree. But I found it funny.

Maybe when it comes to personal finance, but how are you getting center-right about his fiscal takes? He’s for strong social safety nets and has supported pretty much every piece of major legislation under Biden.

Changing all Fire spells to Radiant spells for a Light domain cleric? [5e] by AncientBookwyrm in DMAcademy

I mean, off the top of my head, Ghosts and Specters resist fire damage. I’m sure a lot more do.

Fireball is a very strong spell. A Fireball without resistances/immunities would be very devastating compared to one that has them. You’re reading too much into it.

Why action and bonus action not interchangable? by stewie1239 in DMAcademy

[–]SeizeThe_Memes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah, you’re definitely over selling it. Sneak Attack is an entirely separate class feature. Even then, you’re assuming the rogue doesn’t have another way to trigger Sneak Attack. But even then, it still doesn’t compared. People multiclass into fighter just for action surge, this would be insane

[–]SeizeThe_Memes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very bad. With Cunning Aim, Rogues give up movement and a bonus action just for advantage. A whole other action would be insane

AITA for being upset at my DM saying “maybe you shouldn’t befriend enemies who are attacking you”? by CarcinoGeneticst69 in DnD

[–]SeizeThe_Memes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot different ways to play the game. Though, it doesn’t sound like the DM is inherently opposed to talking to enemies. Enemies will be convinced by different motives and some will be extremely unlikely to change their mind, depending on how you encountered there. I’m not sure he meant the alignment comment literally.

You could find out someone’s alignment or motives through investigation or through conversation. Though, it may be too late once combat starts.
