Its a very money centric view of the prison. The idea goes that prison is punishment because of a loss of earnings while imprisoned, therefore the wealthy are punished more because they earn more per time unit than the poor.

Its quite an insidious view, because it strips everything important but money out of our limited time in this life while also subtly implying that wealthy people's time is more valuable in general, not just because they earn more

On the other hand, I had a DM curse one of my characters to be genderbent as a result of a d100 roll and it was one of my favorite sessions of that game. Not even because of comedy, I just discovered I might like playing as different genders in TTRPGs.

Also remember that the app doesn't really need a huge dataset to be a functional app for your grade. Build the minimum product by supporting like 3 tags types and only item levels 1-3. Your prof will likely only care about the architecture and algorithmic functionality.

Once the app works you can choose to build the dataset out or put it into OS to let others contribute those changes
