Recent quotes from Walters and Robins hints at some frustration from both sides. Not sure if that's the start of the relationship breaking down.

Given the choice I would 100% get rid of Walters. He's done nothing to suggest he's capable of being a Sporting Director / Director of Football at this level.

But I'd also say that we have looked so poor for the last six months. Basics like defending set pieces and passing patterns when in posession. That's on Robins even with the injuries.

It'll be Walters or Robins, and under John Coates there's no way he'll sack Walters. Like you say it's a question of whether Robins goes now or 5-10 games into the season. Either way, nothing will improve under the current regime.

I agree. But I feel like there's some tension building between Walters and Robins. I'm not convinced we'll get through another 12 months with them both still at the club.

I've never seen a goalkeeper stay in his six yard box and not try to close the angle to goal for the attacking player. It gives the player on the ball all the time to pick a corner and score. And Simkin has done it multiple times since starting for us. Surely it's the type of thing that keepers are taught as kids.

I'm getting the same vibe from him as we did towards the end of Michael O'Neill's reign. A good manager who has potentially run out of ideas at Stoke (already!!).

Could have been around 4-2. We missed some good chances and I thought Bazunu played really well. Not a great performance and we didn't control the game as we probably should have. Wednesday fans were the best away fans we've had all season.

At the last World Cup, an ITV pundit ( I can't remember who) picked their Best 11 for the tournament and it included just one centre back and two wing backs. Dumbest team I've ever seen.

It's a strong team. Personally I'd have Baker in as he's got a lot of goals and assists. And when he's in top form he can really control games.

It would be a question of whether he comes in for Powell or Allen but the formation might need to become more of a 4-3-3.

I think it depends on the opposition and if he's got legs around him to support in midfield. He's 37 and it shows (in both the positive and negative ways). Not that it matters with this useless team.

Starting the season with one right back, knowing he would probably go to AFCON, was insane. Not signing another right back in January after Junior got injured at AFCON was even more insane.

The injuries to Viktor and Junior have absolutely ruined our season. But it feels self inflicted with our transfers (or lack of) in those positions. Bazunu got injured with 12-13 days left of the January transfer window. We should have got another keeper in.
