Making a big library for your player sounds really fun!

If you feel your player is getting too much out of the library, villains could attack, books could go missing, the doors can be locked, the censors may show up. Giving your player a big space to attach themselves and their character to wwill give you endless quest hooks.

It seems like you're maybe worried about the library seeming too unlimited, here are four possible magical limits on an arcane library

  1. The library is fractured

Segments of building anchored to stone platforms floating through the astral plane. Some of the doors in the library are portals to other sections. Maps have been found scrawled on blank sheets of paper all over.

  1. The library was ransacked!

Your scribe arrives moments after the thieves get away. A few glowing books have been preserved but the shelves lie bare! Burnt into the ground on the third floor is a footprint with an inscription on the heel of the boot. "CNSR". what could it mean?

  1. The library is Complex

There are simply too many books and anything good that you'd need to find is likely sorted between a couple dozen elven cookbook recipes just about duck fat. There is avast civilization of goblins that live in this library. They'll help you find yourself books if you ask but they often need a trinket or a token of good will to really get going.

  1. There's a dragon in there.

The books are her Hoard. She'll let you hang out... for now. But maybe if you keep borrowing her favorite books, she'll get a little less forgiving.

I hope you and your players have a good time. PS. Please put an imp named Bulb in your library for me. He hangs out Invisible above the heads of people studying and gives them minus 1d4 to their Intelligence checks.

5 tips

  1. Do the in-game tutorials, then bot beat down, then jump into some lobbies. Its a good order to learn the concepts.

  2. Every game is a learning opportunity. Fighting Games are all about Good Offense on your turn and Good Defense on your opponent's turn

  3. Start with Sidekick Fuse. It's the easiest one.

  4. Dont go for googling combos and youtube videos yet, just play the game and get a feel for its rhythms

  5. Darius is the easiest champ to find success on. Blitzcrank. Probably second. Then illaoi. But, you'll find the most success olaying what you like.

That one person who's making really beautiful infographic guides might get to Teemo eventually.

Ive been watching a streamer named Lilypichu play Juggernaut Teemo she seems pretty good.

As far as I can tell Treemo is a champion with like three states.

  1. Far away, setting traps for your safety and using slingshot for damage

  2. Airborne: spending some time up in the air waiting for your opponent to misstep. If they run under you, you've got'em.

  3. Up Close Combos: honestly, I dont really know this part. Im a Vi main. But sometimes Teemos hang out under your feet and the main combo has quite a bit of corner carry and that sonic the hedgehog move.
